A church secretary takes a call. The caller says ,”Is the head hog at The trough there?”
The secretary says, “Please Sir, do not refer to our pastor as the head Hog at the trough. That is very insulting.”
“Oh, I’m very sorry. I meant nothing by that. It’s just a local phrase We use in the part of the country I come from. The real reason I called Was to donate $50,000.00 to your building fund.”
The secretary says, “Hold on. I see the ‘Big Oinker’ coming through the Door right now.”

That was a big surprise to state wildlife experts. They say although some wild boars are known to live in northern New England, there never has been a native population of feral swine in Massachusetts.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Sheesh. The must have forgot to check Barney Frank's neighborhood.

....there never has been a native population of feral swine in Massachusetts. That is, other than the Massachusetts congressional delegation.

There have been stories recently in the La Crosse (Wis) Tribune detailing the trial of a Texas man who was accused of setting hogs loose in western Wisconsin. The man was found non guilty due to a shaky witness whose story about seeing the Texan setting pigs loose a jury didn't believe.
Western Wisconsin has seen a tremendous increase in the numbers of feral pigs who uproot farmers crops and eat practically anything and everything. Hunters are free to shoot as many of these dangerous and destructive critters as possible. So far more than two hundred have been shot and killed. I wish I was there for the pig roast.
