Overview:
There are lawsuits being filed in multiple states. If Obama has nothing to hide, then his behavior is foolish both politically and cash-wise [legal fees] -- it would have been easy to end speculation by simply showing his birth certificate. Among the first to challenge his qualification to be president were the PUMAs. The most well reported lawsuit is by Berg, a Hillary supporter. One of the recent shockers is that Obama's Kenyan grandmother reportedly witnessed him born in Kenya. Another shocker is that Obama was, at least technically, Islamic while in Indonesia. There is also a flimsy paper trail regarding his visa and adoption in Indonesia. What documents were shown on the internet are discredited. And Factcheck.org is not a reliable source, having ties with Annenberg.
The political aspect: BO’s stonewalling makes the Birth Certificate Question alone reason enough for someone to conclude that voting for him would be irresponsible. As vigilant citizens, we are each required to vote Constitutionally. If we are not convinced that he qualifies Constitutionally, then we cannot vote for him. It’s an ‘honor thing’.
Well, at least the opponents are entertaining....

This is my guess too...I read an article that surmises that perhaps his name is "Barry Dunham" on his birth certificate and he doesn't want anyone to know. He then would have changed his name upon a muslim conversion. That or a Kenyan birth are the only reasons I can think of that would make it worth NOT putting forth his birth certificate.But like you said...WHO KNOWS??

Republicans are just lousy at food fights - no stomach for it. They always get upset by the mess. Dems just let fly and wait for everybody to get bored and leave. Then, the Republicans come in and P & M about having to clean up the mess, but they do it.

The kind of people who plan to vote for Obama are ignoramuses who wouldn’t know what “honor” means if they fell over it in the street. Facts and reason mean nothing to these “useful idiots.” Patriotic Americans of both parties and all political stripes must turn out in overwhelming numbers on election day to repudiate the Democrats’ take-over of the U.S. government by this Marxist-Leninist dictator-in-waiting.

And frankly, since he is documented as Islamic, where is the record of his baptism?
The dead end is that there are virtually no facts to support his claim. None. Zip. Nada. And just because someone does the talk show circuit doesn’t mean a whole lot, I don’t care if they say something with which I agree or hope to be true. What appears to be a valid BC has been produced. The fact that Obama hasn’t produced it again is meaningless. Every lawyer in the world would file a motion to dismiss and request to delay discovery as in Berg’s case. Remember, Berg has been on a lot of talk programs with his 9/11 conspiracy theories.was an inside job. That doesn’t make them true. I have just learned that just because something sounds true because of a good sounding argument, doesn’t mean a whole lot. And, without reciting them all here, the facts just do not come close to supporting this theory. While it would be nice to be wrong, I would be astounded if I were.
In any event, every case filed on this issue will likely be dismissed for lack of standing.
That was exactly my point. When you are dealing with a large entity (as opposed to a small one like the Woods Fund where participants are chosen for being like-minded) you can't go by who has some relationship or friendship with someone. It's track records that matter.
Another question — since BO’s school records in Indonesia classify him as a citizen of Indonesia, where is the documentation that he maintained dual citizenship while in Indonesia? He’s Constitutionally required to show that his visa was in order, or technically he’s an illegal alien who needs to be deported. Needless to say — that disqualifies him from being president.
I’m sorry that it hurts Annenberg’s prestige, but leave Ayeers out of it for a minute. The point is that there are ties between factcheck.org and Annenberg. It’s not impartial enough because of Obama being on the board of Annenberg. THAT is the source of his qualification? Only in a banana republic. Who, besides Obama-linked people, has seen the birth certificate?

What documents refute that?Just because Indonesia recognized Obama as a citizen when he was a child, living there with his Indonesian step-father, does not change the fact that he is a natural born citizen of the US. What law says it does?
Furthermore, it doesn't matter what religion Obama was when he was five years old. If you think that a Muslim isn't Constitutionally qualified to hold elected office in this country, then you really have no idea what the Constitution says. You are free to think that being a Muslim makes one culturally unqualified or whatever, but the Constitution explicitly forbids any religious consideration be placed on eligibility for elected office.
And speaking of Annenberg, Ayers and Obama were on the board. It’s damaged goods, like it or not.
