I just tried to find a video of George W. Bush throwing out the first pitch of the World Series in New York immediately after September 11th, 2001.
Not only has it vanished when I could find it with no trouble in the past (including what I remember to be a short ESPN documentary), but it appears that the search terms I used (bush first pitch world series, etc.) bring up nothing but 9 - 11 conspiracy stuff or anti-Bush clips. Anyone else see this?

That’s the only time I’ve ever seen someone throw a strike on an “opening pitch” at a baseball game.
Just watching that video, it’s almost disturbing to see how different our country was then from how it is now. The only word I can use to describe the feeling is ‘sad’...
