Sort of. Carnegie Tech combined with the Mellon Institute of Science in 1965 to form Carnegie Mellon University.
However, their football team now consists of a bunch of kids from the computer department playing Madden 2008.

CMU still plays D3 (as should Notre Dame). Remaining games are against Wittenburg, Washington U, Case Western (which is having a pretty good year) and U.Chicago.
