Ha ha - anti-Obambi book turned backwards in store

Posted on 10/22/2008 8:32:33 AM PDT by GnuHere

Just bought "The Case Against Barack Obama" at the local Barnes and Noble, through no help from somebody who had turned the display copies backwards so the title could not be seen - not finding the book I wanted on the political book display, I saw a book turned backwards and magically, there it was!

Hard to outsmart a Freeper. I did comment to a clerk (sure, he coulda been the one that did it but I would suspect a customer) that, "Someone had taken the liberty of turning these books backwards, but I fixed it." He apologized and said thanks.

I do the same thing in the checkout line of various stores when I see Obambi’s mug. Only too keep myself from throwing-up.

Doubtful. . .Obama supporters can't and/or don't read.

I will add another thing that the bookstore reminded me of, after I saw the Men’s Health cover - guess who, it’s Bambi! Well, despite the fact that I’m a gal, I got an unsolicited copy of it in the mail, so I’m going to tear the cover off and enclose it in a Halloween card - didn’t he say he would scare us?? BOO!!

If it was a stunt by the clerk, then it would’ve been filed in fiction or else left in the stockroom. These are their common tactics employees use when they disagree with the person who places orders.

“Doubtful. . .Obama supporters can’t and/or don’t read.”

You got that right.

I heard the most amazing thing this morning on radio, the Rick Roberts show.

This may be on youtube. They went out and interviewed Obama supporters, BUT gave them McCain policy points, which they ALL said they agreed with...pro life, pro Iraq war, etc. They even asked if they agreed with OBama’s choice of Sarah Palin as VP and they said YES! They don’t have a clue what this guy is about except that he is black.

Ignorance is determining this election.

This is funny, because I regularly move Obama-authored books to the fiction shelves.

I do this all the time for the socialist, left-wing books written by the lib-tards at every Costco I go to.

I haven’t done it yet, but I’ve seriously considered printing out a sheet of labels marked either “Fiction” or “Propaganda” and affixing one to the cover of each pro-0bama book. I know it’s not proper for conservatives to deface other people’s property (even liberal book stores’ property), but I’m getting to the point where legality and propriety may soon be overlooked.

They think they are the only ones who do this? LOL I do it, too. My local Walmart wouldn’t carry Shawn Hannitys’ latest book, but they had several copies of that fat pig Micheal Moores latest book. So I went in and scattered the Moore books all over the book section. Always at the back of a stack and turned backwards to boot. I have heard liberals brag about changing the paper covers on conservative books to liberal books so when the purchaser gets the book home, it is actually a liberal book under a conservative jacket. I’m not advocating this. I’m just sayin’.

Much more effective is to place two or three copies off another stack (preferably a non-political title) over the top, or in front of, a stack of liberal-wack-job authored books.

Makes the search harder than just turning them "backside-out".

And its hilarious when a libtard comes in looking for the book and finally asks a clerk for help, and the clerk stands there scratching their head and muttering, “now I know we had that book. I guess its sold out.” LOL
