Just broke on Hannity & Colmes. Obama is heading to Hawaii to spend time with "sick" Grandma. I call Bull$hit. Nobody leaves the campaign trail for a couple of days to visit someone who is "sick". He is heading down there to "straighten" out this birth certificate issue. How blatent can he get? When Obama was in Hawaii a few months ago playing in the surf, didn't we hear that he has not seen his Grandma for years, and now he is visiting her while she is "sick"?!?! I think he went down there to tell his Grandma to shut up and to not give any interviews, and now I think he is heading down there to get his birth certificate with the wet ink planted in the system.

Republicans should be filing more lawsuits in more States to force the issue. If nothing else, *some* judge will either rule for it or against it quickly, which will send the appeal to a higher circuit court. At that point, it would almost have to go to the SCOTUS on an emergency basis.

The thing is that we as a nation have never had REASON for any candidate for the Presidency to HAVE to prove his/her citizenship. It was always assumed that it was just the case that someone running for the highest office in the land would just BE a natural-born American citizen.
We now have someone...and not just any someone, but a someone who is running as a “Democrat”, may in fact be a Marxist, and most certainly is a Socialist...who could be two weeks away from gaining the Presidency.
Would you NOT want to make abso-fraggin’-lutely sure that this guy is or isn’t eligible???
Sort of like The Bent One faking the fall off the stairs at Greg Norman's house to create a medical time window to have Willard straightened, so he would be in the clear in case he ever were required to drop trou to have the court verify the distinguishing characteristics Monica and Paula described?

Either Obama was born in this country or not. Either he was born before September 17th 1787, or not.
I doubt he is over 200 years old (just a wild guess), so being a natural born citizen is his only hope.
And because it is the Law of the land and it has been the Law of the Land since 1787, we DESERVE to know.
I don’t know why it hasn’t gone nationwide.

A certified copy of a vital record (birth, death, marriage, or divorce certificate) is issued only to an applicant who has a direct and tangible interest in the record. The following persons are considered to have such an interest:
* the registrant (the person whom the record is concerned with);
* the registrant’s spouse;
* the registrant’s parent(s);
* a descendant of the registrant (e.g., a child or grandchild);
*a person having a common ancestor with the registrant (e.g., a sibling, grandparent, aunt/uncle, or cousin);
Okay any Freepers in Hawaii? Go directly to the Department of Health and request a certified copy of Barack Obama’s birth certificate. If they ask you if you are a relative say “Yes...I have a common ancestor with Barack. Both Barack and I are of the Christian faith. The Christian faith believes the first man created by God was Adam and from Adam God created Eve. It is an established fact that the book of Genesis states this. The book of Genesis is an accepted Christian belief shared by both Barack and me and therefore we both share a common ancestor and I hereby demand a certified copy of Barack Obama’s birth certificate.
And in the year 2036 this will become available to the public....this isn’t something we will never find out...but history would say he was a complete fraud if there is something he is hiding.
Something really serious and important (to Obama, at least) is up - I can’t imagine him taking time off for any other reason at this point. The birth certificate issue, as someone else mentioned, would be better taken care of by someone else rather than having to stop the campaign for two days to do it personally, and even a medical issue could probably be discreetly taken care of somewhere on the continental US.
Judging from the fact that there’s nothing else that I can think of that either can’t be done somewhere in the US, or can’t be done by someone who’s not Obama, I’d say whatever’s up does involve his grandmother. Maybe it’s something political, or maybe his grandmother is just sick with something terminal (ergo the being sent home from the hospital) and he wants to visit her one last time just in case she dies before the election. Either way, we’ll probably find out by the end of the week.
if she does die it would fulfill his COLD stereotype he’s starting to earn...how cold would that be? He doesn’t even buy his brother a “Hut sweet Hut” sign....doesn’t bail him out of poverty....for his Grandmother to die this close to the election without a visit by Barack would be politically “incorrect”.
I watch MSNBC to see how they are spinning it because you can see right through what they are doing. Obama does everything for political gain. When they said that Obama was going to be going off the trail for 4 days they kept up the picture of young Obama with his “white” grandparents. They kept this picture up a long time. Why would the Obama campaign give MSNBC this picture?
The Obama campaign with their thousands of pollsters must be doing terrible with voters because of Obama’s association with Jesse Jackson, Farakan, and Rev. Wright. I also believe taking 4 days off he is trying his best to stop the bleeding. Obama has lost momentum from the attacks from the McCain campaign and they will keep coming. He is trying to stop the freefall in the polls.
There also might be a scandal out there (ie the birth certificate). I saw the statement and Obama made sure he emphasized his grandmother took care of him since “he was born in Hawaii.” The interview with API might be coming out.
This is going to be a crazy 2 weeks. Hang onto your hat and pray. If you are getting wobbly then read my tagline.
