This one is silly but it is just too funny to pass over. This bird really digs dancing.

Let's not forget this rather disturbing 80s underground hit, revived by Rush L:

Klaus Nomi "You Don't Own Me"

They certainly did the same for me. I was thinking as I was watching them that I’m so glad you posted them and that I had the opportunity to see them. They are certainly keepers. : )

Two songs I remember playing in the Macy's dressing room when I went for back to school shopping as a youngster:

Human League: "Fascination"

I love the distorted second Gen synthesizer that dates this song to the early 80s. Plus, the two gals from the Human League were HOT.

Another from the Macy's dressing room was this one, with the coolest opening bass line of the entire decade:

Hall and Oates: "I Can't Go For That (No Can Do)

Two of my all-time fave 80s flashback tunes.

They were among the first ones I loaded onto my video iPods.

[I love the 80s!]

LOL

I know.

I was really snarky when it was first done because I'm seriously loyal to BOC but they actually didn't do a “cover”, per se, it was more of a creative reinterpretation.

Here's an example of a cover superceding the original:

Even Trent Reznor said the song was Johnnys, now.
