2005, an image of a naked John Lennon, taken on the last day of his life, was named the top US magazine cover of the past 40 years. The Rolling Stone front cover, taken by Annie Leibovitz and showing Lennon curled around Yoko Ono, was picked by editors, artists and designers.

2002, after a 15 year court battle, New York State's highest court ruled that the Ronettes, did not have the right to share the money earned by their producer Phil Spector through the use of the group's songs in movies, television and advertising. Since I'm in the mood for some blues & blues-rock:

Colin James (duet with Willie Dixon)

Some more recent Colin James

And finally, the one and only Moby Grape

Oh, my!!! What a gorgeous, talented horse!

Thank you so much for posting. I was so glad to see the rider lean over and hug the animal after that amazing performance. I wanted to do the same! : )

Ray Bethell and his kites and Matinee always raise my mood if I am down. I love both videos. The horse is so awesome and his rider seems to love him dearly.
