2005, an image of a naked John Lennon, taken on the last day of his life, was named the top US magazine cover of the past 40 years. The Rolling Stone front cover, taken by Annie Leibovitz and showing Lennon curled around Yoko Ono, was picked by editors, artists and designers.

Looking for video:

A couple of years ago I saw a video that was approximately 10 minutes long that was sort of a mime act—not sure what you would call it. The video was done in the dark with the actor(s) in green. He resembled or could have been the Statue of Liberty. In any case, among the many awesome thing shown, he took his head off and held it under his arm. Does anyone know of this video? What this is called? And does anyone have a link? Thank you very much.

Yes, she had a great voice. She was popular in the Fifties as a singer. Also did some film work and television.

Wow! Those are amazing. “Sultry” is such an inadequate adjective for her style. She’s just smokin’ hot.

Thanks so much for posting those. Best posts of the night.

There are a number of very good songs by her on You Tube.

This one isn't a live performance, and I think a few of the pictures aren't of her...but, most of them are of her.

That was an intereting one: never heard "Timothy" before. Here's another great Aussie Band, "Hunters & Collectors", or "The Hunnas" if you're an Ozzie.

(Turn a) Blind Eye

Fantastic live band, I saw them at Thunderbird Stadium in Vancouver in the early 1990's. They were the lead act for "Midnite Oil". An amazing performance. A part of their unique sound is the wind instruments, an ensemble that they call "The Horns of Contempt".
