That means Pelosi is your new President. She would immediately cancel the election. Obama would be forced to flee into exile.
Hey, I can dream...

The reason I'm quitting is simple. I'm fed up with you people. I love that line. To the point. I've seen this 'speech' before and I never tire of it. Thanks for posting

I think he’s quiting because of the constitutional amendment which requires it.

History will prove President Bush was a great president and I am going to miss him. If Nobama gets the job next, every decent, God loving American will too.

I love it!! Oh, if only! I wish GWB could at least read it. I bet he would get a big kick out of it.

He wouldn't; he couldn't; he will carry on the best he knows how and do everything his power to serve and protect until it's time to turn over the position to the next person.
The speech reads like something that Gary Cooper would have given at the end of High Noon, but the difference between Will Cain and George W. Bush is that Will Cain is amovie character with nothing to lose when the credits roll, while GW is a real-life cowboy and a hero.

SUPERB, Fawn. I needed this today.
I needed to be reminded why I supported (and still do) W all through the Iraq war and with the majority of his foreign policy decisions. It puts the disagreements I have with him on domestic policies in perspective. Thank you.
I needed to be reminded that he is basically a decent man doing the most difficult job in the world. Thank you.
I needed to be reminded that there are those so much better than the Obamas and Pelosis of the world and we were blessed to have had W in office instead of a Gore or Kerry on September 11, 2001. Thank you.
I needed this today of all days to give me encouragement for the world into which my new little grandprincess was born this morning!!!
Thank you, Fawn. I needed this!

Well, it would be just like Bush to become a conservative and use his position as president on the last day in office to try to convince the world that we are heading into socialism and it's going to destroy us.

I like the speech. Too bad the inept POTUS could not string these words together if you put a gun to his and his whole family’s head.
Neither could Juan McCain. Or any other ‘leader’ known to American today. Such men have not been allowed in office since around Teddy Roosevelt’s time. A debauched and corrupt people will not tolerate such.
