OK then... still could be satellites or something. I live at an altitude that’s not too far away from NYC, and I remember as a kid I’d go online to this tracker that NASA had that would tell you when the space shuttle or space station or whatever would pass over where you live, and then go outside and watch it pass over. It was pretty bright, to the point where it was clearly visible to the naked eye in the early evening. They have similar sites for some or their satellites and stuff, so next time, if you’re wondering, you can go online to either eliminate or confirm the possibility of it being a NASA satellite. In either case, it’s something that you and anyone else on this thread who’s an amateur astronomer might find interesting.
I’ve watched satellites transit plenty of times. This was different.
