Bump for later
Looks like an old school style episode.
I hope this one - unlike last week - is actually funny
Did you see the Indiana Jones movie? That was a horrible movie. Matt & Trey nailed it.
The Chinese subplot was funny. The Indiana Jones thing was really stupid (and not in a funny way)
I'll never be able to watch the Indiana Jones movie again without yelling... "They're raping him!!!! nooooo!"
That they did, however, I think they spouted the punchline too early. I liked how it started to play into Cartman's paranoia ever-so-slightly...but, like I said, they spilled the beans too soon.
I guess funny is in the eye of the beholder. I chuckled at looking for Chinese conspirators at PF Chang's but other than that, I found the episdoe outrageous but not funny.
I didn't see the lastest Indiana Jones movie but I got what they were doing with it. Nailed it or not, it just wasn't a very funny episode.
One of Southpark's most endearing traits is that they've managed to be hilariously funny at the same time as being outrageous. I hope they haven't lost their dedication to that for the sake of just shocking people.
That's my opinion, anyway.
Thankfully I’ll never have watch that Indiana Jones movie again.
Cartman’s line, “Butters what are you doing?! Shooting guys in the d-— is not cool. Not cool!” had me cracking up. Then again, I have a 4th grade sense of humor which is probably why I found it so funny.
The very last line of the show, shows her looking maniacally into the camera and saying "Don't.... ****.... With.... Wendy.... Testeberger.....!!!!"
OH OH this going be funny
That fight of the century Cartman vs Wendy LOL!
I love South Park. Sure, sometimes they have dissed Catholics and that is offensive to me, but they diss everyone. Not only that but sometimes they are just SOOO right!
Love the one about the hybrids...some people are just a little more ahead of the curve, just a little more in tune with the Earth, you know? Tha-anks!
Both my son and hubby had gone to the Indy movie but I hadn’t. They hadn’t complained at the time but when I grilled my son (yeah, I’m twisted - I discuss SP with my son - but disclaimer - he’s 19) he said it wasn’t “really an Indiana Jones movie.” He definitely saw the satire in the SP episode. I had fun figuring out all the references to previous Lucas/Spielberg productions.
Tonight’s should be a hoot. And before anyone flames me for laughing at cancer, I’ve faced a few health episodes myself plus I’ve worked in a burn unit. Humor is the way I’ve coped best, the more twisted the better ;-).
I have to stay in tonite, so new SP is perfect!
I loved the episode about they hybrids too. The Toyota “Pious” was a hoot. Good for youuuuu!
I love that show.
will it be replayed tonight at all?
