ACORN is a grass roots advocacy group

ACORN is anything but a grassroots orgainzation. It is a well funded politcal machine.

The only way the Acorn accusations could be a partisan attack would be if the fake ballots where somehow supplied by republican operatives. That seems like a pretty big stretch.

these are the same idiots who registered George W Bush to vote in the 9th Ward in New Orleans last year. They were trying so hard to make up the 400,000 poor people who fled to Houston that they thought Ray ‘School Bus’ Nagin might not get re-elected.

Falsifying voter registrations is a felony.

ACORN admits that two percent of their forms in Florida were obviously suspicious. That mean those forms were submitted by really stupid people committing felonies.

When you have that percentage that are obviously committing criminal acts while on the job employed by you, you would have to expect an even higher percentage that weren't so overt about it.

At best ACORN's hiring practices are criminally negligent. At best they are costing election boards a fortune going through bogus ballots because they aren't willing to screen their prospective employees better. Sure it would cost more to screen employees better, and they might have to pay more to attract quality applicants.

How would it go over with these liberals if it was a private corporation that was having a significant portion of their employees committing felonies on the job and their excuse was that they fired the ones being really blatant about it?

At best the people at ACORN are flooding elections boards across the country with falsified registrations that are costing a lot of public tax dollars to weed out. These actions are criminal. Not just the individuals falsifying the registrations, but ACORN paying these people with little oversight to do this. You would think that if they even bothered to warn their employees that the registrations would be validated and they could be prosecuted for turning in false registrations that much of this wouldn't happen.
