IRVING, TEXAS (TICKER) Tony Romo evidently will not be around to help the Dallas Cowboys recover from a painful loss. According to multiple reports, Romo has a broken pinkie finger - an injury that will sideline the Pro Bowl quarterback for four weeks. The injury first was reported Monday morning by ESPN, which cited an anonymous team source. The NFL Network reported that Romo currently is being examined by team doctors. The Cowboys could not be reached for comment. Romo suffered the injury during Sundays 30-24 overtime loss to the Arizona Cardinals and originally was diagnosed with a sprained pinkie. The two-time Pro Bowler was harassed by Arizonas pass rush throughout the contest and appeared to favor his throwing hand during Dallas overtime possession. Romo has passed for 1,689 yards and a league-leading 14 touchdowns this season for the high-powered Cowboys (4-2), who have lost two of their last three games. If Mondays reports are accurate, Dallas will use veteran Brad Johnson under center for at least its next three games. The Cowboys visit St. Louis next week before hosting Tampa Bay on October 26. After a road game against the rival New York Giants, the Cowboys have a bye in Week 10.

Who cares? He is an average QB who has accomplished nothing.
Jessica will nurse him back to health..............
That was a great game. Unless you are a Cowboys fan. Since I’m a Los Angeles Rams fan, about all I have to hold on to these days is to watch ex-St. Louis quarterbacks win a game or two. Pretty lean times for those of us who remember Waterfield, Billy Wade, Jon Arnett and guys like that.
You'll be getting a new team soon...............
I am guessing someone cares.
There are Dallas fans here.
And I’ll bet someone has him on a fantasy football team.
That WAS a great game. There were a bunch of them yesterday.
4 weeks for a broken finger? Splint the damn thing and get back in there. Jeez.
That’s okay. This will give him plenty of time to go to all those states where ACORN has registered him to vote! LOL
As an Eagles fan all I can say is... BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
well, it’s been lite years since the Cowboys were whipped on the offense and defensive line all day long as happened sunday . I’m a 40 yr Cowboy fan being from Tx but live since 93 in Phoenix and I root for the team in the town I live...........
I love my D Backs and respect the Cardinals...nice to finally see the Cards get physical !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wouldn’t be so sure. They sure weren’t doing much with him playing. Can’t get much worse.
Thats my thinking too. A broken pinkie?
My son played high school football. He played both offense and defense. One time in the middle of the game he was out and I went up to the fence to find out what was wrong as he was with the trainer. He told me he broke his middle finger but was getting taped up and would be back in as soon as he was taped. He was fine and went right back in.
The pros these days are too soft. They get paid lots of money to be little primadonnas and can’t take the heat.
Yeow...don’t do that to us during work. ( ;-D
Hard to throw the old oblate spheroid with a broken finger, though...
GOOD!!! He stinks and needs to get rid of the blonde!
I do not think he stinks, but I have to admit, since he started dating the "Ho Bag" as I like to call her, his game has dropped off considerably.
Brett Favre would still play.
