It is made by the Facing the Giants producers. Looks a little “B”, but the story is so good you forget about not having all the extra stuff.
It is a wonderful movie...when it first started my husband and I thought they had filmed us. It was exactly how we treat eachother....this movie hits all areas very well.
Not a kid movie, they would not understand the dynamics...plus you and your spouse should go for coffee or something after and talk about it or just enjoy eachother. We had a great night. Theater was full!

From what I’ve seen, there’s nothing inappropriate for kids in it, but they’d likely be pretty bored in parts. If possible, get them tickets to see something like The Express - that’s a great family-friendly movie, the most inappropriate thing in it is some heavy making out, but the racism and associated violence can get kinda intense - or Beverly Hills Chihuahua or City of Ember, depending on their preferences, while you go see this.
