A Little Freeper Vocabulary Help Please (Vanity Question)
Posted on 10/10/2008 7:16:23 PM PDT by Thickman
I apologize in advance for my ignorance. I could not find anyplace on the site that gives a primer on certain vocabulary and abbreviations used.
Specifically, I have no idea what "btt" means. I've picked up other franguage such as "hugh" and "series" but "btt" escapes me.
Thanks for the heads up.

BTTT (Bump To The Top) is used when you want to move a thread up on the "post" section of FR. For the FReepers who are looking at all of the posts going up, a BTTT will offer a "Hey look at this post" note to them.
 Hope that helps.

Pumpkin muffins. It's that time of year, isn't it? I need to make an excursion to the Real Sticks to find the $.10 a pound sweet potato stands, too.

I only use one "t" in the "btt". And I never capitalize. "btt" is more elegant. "BTTT" is so in your face, Democrat-like, tee hee.

No brandy in the house, and the state-run liquor stores are probably closed by now.
I have honey, though. And lots of nyquil.

I thought so, too. And this one just came out of nowhere. Headache, congestion, scratchy throat... I haven’t had one of these in years.
I just turned 50 last month; maybe I’m starting to fall apart!

Yep, I need to be better at taking my vitamins.
Off to bed... time to get horizontal and let the BoSox/Rays game watch me.
Good night! (And thanks for the muffins!)
