(Vanity) McCain just surrendered tonight. Time to pick our favorites for 2012.

McCain just killed all the momentum and enthusiasm of the last week with this simple sentence in response to an angry attendee at a rally tonight:

“I have to tell you, he is a decent person, a person that you do not have to be scared [of] as president of the United States."

“No, ma’am. He is a decent family man, citizen"

I believe the republican party is dead, American is dead, and taxpayers are dead as the Congress, White House, DC and states are now all socialist.
However, if it is possible to ressurect America from the econmoic, moral, and political crash that is now here, there must be a return to moral values first and foremost (Jesus the Christ is Lord and Saviour of them that beleive on Him) and a new conservative party must arise out of the ashheap of the republican party, now just rino only.

What’s worse is if someone actually made an attempt on Obama’s life

It would be a set up by the 'rats to frame the GOP and it would fit my scenario for the October surprise from the Obama cells.

There are more than a few quitters here on this thread. Too sensitive really for the fight.

Trust me I know all about that. I live in a state McCain decided he didn't want to fight in.

Well, Grannie McCain knows her son...obviously well....”just hold your nose and vote for John”....I voted today....BEFORE reading this latest fluff fluff with a powder puff attack on Obama by John Boy.....or should I say.....on one of McCain’s supporters....I don’t know who McCain stands up for or stands against any more....I would not have voted against McCain/Palin because I cannot abide the thoughts of Obama being in that White House....but I feel I have the absolute right to be angry and disappointed with the GOP candidate. I agree he will only serve one term....but first he has to win...and that is very debatable at this point. He has convinced himself that because he won the nomination that people like the fact he ‘goes across the aisle’....well, that is a thought up for grabs.....I would never have in a million moons voted for McCain in the primaries...but, you get what you get...and we got what we got from the cross over voters....oh, well...here’s to staying out of the desert!

Along with complaining here.. how many took a minute to WRITE their displeasure to his campaign???????

With all due respect, the GOP/RNC doesn't give a fig about what I think. Why should I bother writing to them?

This is a joke.. John McCain is a joke. Whoever voted for him in the primary should be g-damn ashamed of themselves for being that stupid.

C'mon Oneroom99! You don't get it! Hold your nose now and vote for a socialist so you can advance the conservative cause in four or eight years. It makes perfect sense!

So....democrats got to pick their own candidate AND they got to pick our candidate TOO!
***During the primaries I posted the solution to this. The primary schedule should be based upon %of party. If it’s 90% Republican, they go first, then the 89% pubbie, then the 87% and so on down the line. Those states that are solidly republican can get rewarded for being even more republican, and the ones that are a mixed bag are dealt with at the end.

Have you considered that the question could have been a setup to get a response from Mc Cain that the main stream media could use to hang him with.

And, he certainly gave them a response that the MSM/BHO campaign can certainly use.

What do you expect McCain to say that he is a dangerous person and no one should trust himor let people decide for themselves?

McCain already called Obama's policies "dangerous" in the first debate. He should have responded similarly. This isn't personal. It is about someone whose policies are dangerous and represent a threat to this nation. We need a little straight talk. McCain has no compunction about attacking Reps. His problem is attacking Dems. He had to squeeze out the names of Barney Frank and Chris Dodd yesterday. Prepare to be disappointed on Wednesday as he blows another opportunity to go after Obama, the Chicago punk who dissed McCain as not having enough courage to confront him face to face on Ayers.

Reps have been begging McCain to take the gloves off, but he is reluctant to go after Obama and his lies. Obama will just run out the clock and McCain will be huffing and puffing about what he is going to do. And then on election day, he will give a gracious concession speech and offer his full support of President Obama, including producing an amnesty and cap and trade legislation to address global warming.

did he tell his buddies that the guards who beat them were basically decent guys?

Possibly. Remember the story about the guard who scratched a cross in the dirt...

We may be seeing a remnant of Stockholm Syndrome at work here.
