The highly unusual weather pattern — some winters are warmer than usual, some are colder than usual — and the same goes for summers, with some hot, some cool — this sort of up-and-down unpredictability which is quite noticeable in world-wide weather patterns, is just rock-solid proof of our drastic need to DO SOMETHING about climate change.
I see someone has not been paying attention...
Global Warming Causes CLIMATE CHANGE and can lead to severe temperature swings and cause INSTANT ICE AGES!
Did you not watch the Global Warming Documentary that predicts it all?
(I kid you not, some greenweenies that live near me use this movie as a source for what is going to happen in the next few years.)
Joe Bastardi doesn’t go for the global warming scam.
Some scientists believe it is in result of climate change, or global warming.
Ah yes, the good old horse**it “catch all” phrase rears it’s ugly head.
It’s getting pathetic. Now it’s multiple choice.
You know how the scientists knew this will be a colder winter?.......They read the Farmers Almanac.
where’s Al Gore?
but even if it’s called global climate change instead of global warming, aren’t we still supposed to buy carbon credits?
Welcome to the bizzaro world of liberal fanatics who believe words mean whatever THEY want them to mean at any given point in time.
No, we won’t die but the drought will continue.
Recently, I took it upon myself to debunk global warming using only the writings of the GW activists themselves. Here is one of my posts from another site that summarizes why the "science" of global warming can't be taken seriously.

Claims that global average temperatures during Medieval times were warmer than present-day are based on a number of false premises that a) confuse past evidence of drought/precipitation with temperature evidence, b) fail to distinguish regional from global-scale temperature variations...

Objection: It was just as warm in the Medieval Warm Period (MWP) as it is today. In fact, Greenland was green and they were growing grapes in England!
Answer: There is no good evidence that the MWP was a globally warm period comparable to today. Regionally, there may have been places that exhibited notable warmth -- Europe, for example -- but all global proxy reconstructions agree it is warmer now, and the temperature is rising faster now, than at any time in the last one or even two thousand years. Anecdotal evidence of wineries in England and Norse farmers in Greenland do not amount to a global assessment.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Arctic: Losing Its Cool
-----------------------------------------
What this means for the rest of us While the Arctic melt has profound effects on the region's people and ecosystems, it also spells trouble for the rest of the world. For instance, the changes to the ocean's circulation system would mean that though some places will get much warmer, other places, such as Europe, which won't get the warmth from the Gulf Stream, will get much cooler.

In the first two global warming sources, cited above, regional warming is used to attempt to refute the idea that the earth was warmer during the Medieval Warm Period than it is today (despite the fact that CO2 levels would've been lower). However in the last source, cited immediately above, regional climate patterns are used as evidence for global warming!
Again: regional climate patterns are used both to explain - and explain away - global warming from global warming "experts" themselves! In other words, evidence for global warming based on regional climate patterns can't be used as evidence against global warming skeptics based on regional climate patterns! You don't have to be a climate scientist or an "expert" to refute this stuff! You just have to read what the alleged "experts" on global warming are writing! And what they write - time after time after time - is self-contradictory!
In a way, it is. Black people don't do well in snow, just like white people don't do well in sun. Black folks will get rickets from lack of Vitamin D, for example; white folks in sun climates get burns and melanomas and die young.
What's so interesting about this is that climate is what really calls the shots on the human condition, next to (or as part of) God. (I believe that Judeo-Christianity gives us the rules to get along in any climate).
When Juan Cabrillo first explored the California coastline about 500 years ago -- and 500 yrs is a hiccup, when you think about it -- the Big Sur coast was described as snowy and icy and unhospitable. In anyone's memory, in the oldest California families along the coast, no one remembers it that cold.
Imagine how quickly things would change if the climate in the Southwest went into that climactic mode again. For one thing, California would lose its allure as having the "perfect" climate. Its ability to produce food would alter. And the need for energy would change drastically, or people would die. In civilized places, the wheat would pretty quickly lose the chaff in an abrupt and dramatic climate change.
The mighty hand of God -- climate is omnipotent.
Actually, in So. Cal, we had one of the mildest summers in a long time. My husband predicts a colder-than-usual winter, and I’m inclined to agree.
neato! so can i ski to the statue of liberty then?
“Actually, in So. Cal, we had one of the mildest summers in a long time. My husband predicts a colder-than-usual winter, and Im inclined to agree.”
I’ve been telling everyone I know to expect a long, hard, cold winter here in the upper Midwest. Scientists (not climatologists) have been watching solar activity and have noted a total lack of sunspot activity for the last couple of years. No sunspots = less solar radiance. Less solar radiance = colder temps on planet earth (and every other planet in the solar system).
If this does happen, it will be one more nail in “Gloabl Warming’s” coffin.
But it also begs the question: What will Al Gore and all the other greenweenies do about global cooling???
