The new rumor is that English prof Ayers ghost-wrote Obama’s books. There is some early forensic/style evidence pointing strongly in this direction. If this can be nailed down by comparing other Ayers work to Obama’s (?) books, Obama is finished.
But the forensic work has to be done super fast to have any effect on the election.
Obama was noted for NOT writing, neither as editor of the Harvard law review, nor as a lecturer on con-law. The man just didn't write, in positions where most folks write like crazy.
Then he pops out with two fantastically well written books that become best sellers? And this has nothing to do with his freindship with political mentor and English prof Bill Ayers?
The forensic work has to be done super fast to have any effect on the election.
I already saw a thread where nearly exact phrases were used in an unpublished but available online Ayers work, and Dreams From My Father. Seems that Ayers had been a merchant seaman for a short while, and the nearly exact same sea and sky descriptions are in both his and "Obama's" works, even though "Obama's" books don't deal with seafaring.
Smoke, meet fire. These sea and sky descriptions jumped out on a first read, but actual forensic analysis could NAIL THIS DOWN. Like a fingerprint or DNA match.
If Ayers is Obama's ghost-writer, we need to prove this in a very short time.
I'm trying to stir up this rapid research here on Free Republic. Remember Dan Rather and Memogate, and the forensic analysis that was done in a matter of hours?
WE need an effort like that now.
Remember Slick admitting he puffed but didn't inhale? That satisfied the peons.
We have sunk to "He!! yeah I was a druggie"
and most importantly, he will have exposed himself (once again) as the pathological liar that he is.
In the three articles on the subject Cashill actually compares only two sentences taken from these two books.
The rest is just pure, unadulterated speculation.
A thirty-odd word sample from a 300 page book compared to a thirty-odd word sample from a 464 page book is not enough to prove anything at all, except that the proponent of the assertion makes reckless and unsupported allegations.
Get a grip.
As a curious side-note, if you go to William Ayers’ main website
you will notice a very prominent name in the middle of the page: ABU-ZAYD. For those of you who are not familiar with Islamic culture, the name means “FATHER OF ZAYD” and it is Ayers OTHER name. As you may have noticed above, Ayers has two children which he raised as Muslims (Malik and Zayd), a fact that he openly exalts by applying to himself an honorary Muslim name.
The “alert” public is ALREADY aware of:
- Rev. Wright's lunacy as Obama’s revered preacher...
- Obama’s membership in a “church” of Black Liberation Theology. Which is OPENLY black racist and preaches violence.
- Father Flager the white clown, preaching as a black racist.

- Ayers - his background and his flag stomping on 9/11.
- Obama is a product of Chicago's corrupt political machine
- Obama’s refusal to release his undergraduate university records.
- Obama’s refusal to release his Harvard records.
- Obama’s refusal to release the names of ALL his donors.
- Obama’s refusal to release his MEDICAL records.
- The change in Obama’s primary persona, versus his current persona.
- Obama’s promises that are not specific or affordable.
- Obama’s hands covered in the red ink of Sub Prime loans as a tool to accomplish HIS GOALS of delivering to HIS CONSTITUENTS a home with YOUR MONEY.
- Obama’s votes to kill babies who SURVIVE abortion.
- Obama’s votes for EVERY Tax Increase and against EVERY tax reduction.
- Obama’s unexplained trip to Pakistan as a student - and as yet no word on WHICH passport he used.
- Obama’s nonexistent record of accomplishing ANYTHING except his own career enhancements with YOUR money and the money of our enemies.
- The suspicion Obama remains a closet Muslim.
- The suspicion Obama my not be a natural born citizen.
- Etc, etc, etc. etc.........
I sincerely doubt that adding to the list the fact that Obama’s books were ghostwritten by some Communist bomb thrower would make any difference....
The voting public is too damned ignorant to care...

The fools see Obama as their “messiah”...to lead them out of the morass they've made of their lives - and Obama has come to tell them it “the White man's fault”....”it's the rich white man's fault”.....soon he will add it's “the Jew's fault” and then we will KNOW the real Obama...
In reality, the author of those books is as unimportant or significant to the masses as who was Hitler's tailor — even if it was revealed the skilled tailor was a Jew.
Obama is an UNKNOWN entity, a sock puppet with someone hand up his ass controlling things.....who is as yet unidentified.
One more nail in Obama's coffin will not prevent their "messiah" from arising from the dead.... They believe!

Several people, including former Clinton speechwriter David Kusnet and, later, Vassar professor Donald Foster correctly identified Klein as the novel’s author, based on a literary analysis of the book and Klein’s previous writing. Klein denied authoring the book and publicly condemned Foster.[2][3] Klein denied authorship again in Newsweek, speculating that another writer wrote it. Washington Post Style editor David von Drehle, in an interview, asked Klein if he was willing to stake his journalistic credibility on his denial, to which Klein agreed.[4]
Indeed, in "Dreams," it is on the subject of black rage that the author writes most eloquently. Phrases like "full of inarticulate resentments," "knotted, howling assertion of self," "unruly maleness," "unadorned insistence on respect" and "withdrawal into a smaller and smaller coil of rage" lace the book.
In "Fugitive Days," "rage" rules and in high style as well. Ayers tells of how his "rage got started" and how it evolved into an "uncontrollable rage – fierce frenzy of fire and lava."
Hmmm.
Obama's descriptive, poetic writing in "Dreams" should be on example SOMEWHERE else, a law review article, a high school essay, ANYWHERE?
Or can he not write at all?
1. I propose we run it through a cheap automated program to see if the project merits more effort and money. Appoint a freeper to get this done ASAP.
2. If it does then have some hard leftist atheis.. (I mean well respected by the media, some professional who focuses his work in this area. For example, Donald Foster.

Klein appeared on television again to announce that he was indeed the author of Primary Colors. Literary sleuth Don Foster, who had found himself the butt of ridicule after Klein’s denial, had been vindicated.
In April, the TV news magazine Dateline interviewed Professor Foster, who explained to reporter John Hockenberry the methods he had used to trace an anonymously written work to Joe Klein. He explained that he first did a textual analysis of Primary Colors to identify words, phrases, and expressions that were repeatedly used and to look for “quirky expressions” and peculiarities of punctuation. Afterwards, he simply analyzed writing samples until he located a consistent usage of the same “telltale” signs of authorship. Sample after sample was rejected until finally he happened onto the writings of Joe Klein and found what he had been looking for. The literary quirks and features that Foster had isolated in Primary Colors occurred with such frequency in Klein’s articles that despite Klein’s initial denial, Foster knew he was Anonymous.
I called Professor Don Foster, of “Primary Colors” fame. He outed Joe Klein. He doesn’t want to do it. We also discussed various reasons for not doing it, not much time, no significant evidence of this allegation, and he usually works on court cases. Also, other problems such as: need pure writing from Ayers, w/o corrections and maybe original manuscripts of Obama’s “memoirs”, and finally maybe its not such a good use of resources as he may not be able to say definitively that it was ghost written.
So that’s one no, only a few more till we get to a yes.
It should be possible to prove that Ayers was Obama’s ghost-writer.
There's at least one other authorship possibility, though, one with a more literary bent.
Ayers has always been more of a coordinator/facilitator type, and it's more likely that Ayers may have helped arrange for the publication and distriubution of the book, rather than the actual nuts and bolts of writing it.
There are enough voters who have the intellectual ability of the OJ jurors, who did not understand DNA evidence, to keep this analysis from being significant.
Would they understand and embrace this kind of forensic evidence?
Having said that, I do believe that Obama had a ghost writer, probably selected by his publisher.
I thnk this ghost writer left some deliberate clues. On a previous thread on this subject, I noted the use of the word "dewlapped" to describe Frank Davis, Obama's Commie mentor in Hawaii.
I think that unusual word use could be a clue to the author's identity.
Larry Sinclair will be at the debate tonight....we will see what the public does with that.

I know this is not exactly germane to the book topic but it is nice to know. And, I do not believe the polls. I do not think Obama will win, if the egregious voter fraud can somehow be staunched.

It doesn’t seem like this project is possible in the time available, judging from the Primary Colors case. A simple denial would last Obama/Ayers many months.
How did this then-nobody GET a book deal, a publisher, and a ghost writer? Not plausible.
The "push" came from elsewhere, from a collaborator (Ayers?) who saw the potential in Obama, ghost-wrote the book, and THEN sold it to a publisher ina very polished form.IMHO.
Are you kidding? Or serious?
What is he expected to do there? Challenge Obama?
