IF you ask Adam Fulrath who is the love of his life, he will barely blink an eye before responding: Parappa.
Mr. Fulrath, a 37-year-old design director at Time Out New York, keeps five photographs of Parappa, a shorthaired, bicolored, mixed-breed cat, on his desktop. He knows that it might be considered a little weird that a grown man would be so enamored with his kitty, but Mr. Fulrath, who is into video games and comic books and calls himself a straight, geeky guy, doesnt care.
Shes my primary relationship, he said.
Mr. Fulrath is one of a growing number of single and yes, heterosexual men who seem to be coming out of the cat closet and unabashedly embracing their feline side. To that end, they are posting photographs and videos of their little buddies on YouTube and on Web sites like menandcats.com, and Twittering about them to anyone who will listen.

And bring it to with pride as a gift.
I can tell when my cat has caught something. Her voice is very distinctive from her normal speech. Although she did slip one past me one evening. Didn't see the chipmunk in her mouth. Found what was left of the hind quarters in the living room.
All in all she's policed up a dozen (that I know of) chipmunks from the yard this year.
Real men DO love cats. My wonderful DH (a fighter pilot, by the way) and I have a house full. OK, they are my cats ... but he likes them, too!
I like various animals too, and I really don’t understand all the “haters” out there. Because I have a dog (and a REAL dog, if you ask me - plus I’m a woman), it may be assumed I’m a cat-hater. But I’m not; love them, but just don’t have 1 now. I wish I did so the dog people won’t jump to conclusions and start making nasty cat comments.
*sigh* Please people, let’s get this right.
Metrosexuals are NOT gay.
They’re dapper guys who ensure they look good. That’s all. In fact, used to be they were just called “gentlemen”.

Hehe. Such a mischievous look there.
I didn’t realize golden eyes with orange cats was so common. I don’t think any of the orange kitties we’ve had over the years (quite a few) have had golden eyes. I must say it’s a wonderful combination I think.
Hmm, now I want to go watch Goldeneye. :D

They have two Large dogs buffaloed!
I am truly very sorry to hear of your loss and I commend you on trying to help the little darling.
We also lost a young one recently. Toast was 11 months old and one of the best souls I’ve ever met. (and I don’t say that lightly) She’d swallowed some string in June and the original vet didn’t get it all out. By the time she went into surgery last month, she was too weak to survive for more than a day after. She is resting under a Yoshino cherry we planted in her honor (she was Japanese by birth and breed) and are planning a meditation garden there. Her loss is felt still.
My heart commiserates with yours.
Awwww, great photos. Meow, meow.
That’s cat language for Thank You.
Lib, I am sorry you lost the ‘love of your life’. But those cat ‘kids’ can sure fill a very large gap, can’t they?
Look at all the orange cats!
