Well, let’s put some poetry on the old poetry site.
Love by the Fire
She laid upon a hearth rug, lit by glowing coals the color of Loves Rose,
her skin was as polished alabaster, washed in the light of Mars,
a flawless ruddy statue of Woman At Rest, in graceful curves of repose,.
illuminated by her inner fire, echoing through her, like notes on a soul sitar.
Her hair flung back in that last act of release,
her eyes close in reflex as nerves are lovingly rasp.
Breath still surged to demands of her needs toward peace,
her body more alive then her mind can grasp.
Falling through her clouds of timeless tumbling mist,
into a deep and silent sea of complete peace.
She surrenders to the final act of our gentle tryst,
and we are finally sundered by that shattering release.

I do love those Faberge Eggs. They are beautiful.
This is Laura Bush's Egg Purse. I posted it a long time when we were celebrating 'something'. Maybe Egg Day...LOL!

Just kinda “plugging along”. The Red Hat luncheon was very good. Cute little Bistro. Thats the 3rd time someone has had a business in there, but I believe this one will make it! It is conected to a larger fine dining place here and the name alone will cause it to serve only the best!

Verge
Just on the verge of happening; events Im pining for,
That blossoming they promised me? Im waiting at the door.
For flowers to awaken, and spring out from the bud,
Is there some Magic that I need, to quicken in my blood?
And is the timing right for me, before Ive too much pride,
To reconsider growing up, and dolls Ive cast aside,
Im sure they will forgive me, with such a stoic way,
A bit of tea-time with the girls could be a better day.
For Im no good at this, I fear. Ill surely do it wrong,
Ive only gotten this far now, and half the days along.
These first times take forever, and Ive no patience yet,
And any boy who looks at me, a poke is what hell get.

"Did you write this?" He wrote it. But that doesn't mean he lived it.
He's like me. He makes stuff up.
