Just want to make a correction here. The boy in the picture is named Zac Efron not Sac!

A Hill Too High
Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Matthew 6:34
My wife and I like to rollerblade. Near the end of one of our favorite routes is a long hill. When we first started taking this route, I tried to encourage Sue by saying, Are you ready for the hill? just before pushing our way to the top. But one day she said, Could you please not say that? You make it sound like a huge mountain, and that discourages me.
It was better for Sue to face the hill thinking only about one step, or one rollerblade push, at a time instead of an entire steep hill to conquer.
Life can be like that. If we peer too far ahead of today, the challenges may feel like a Mt. Everest climb. They can appear impossible to handle if we think we have to be ready for the hill.
The Bible reminds us that today is all we need to tackle. We dont need to worry about tomorrows tasks (Matt. 6:34). Imagine Moses thinking, Ive got to feed all these people for who knows how long. How can I get that much food? God took care of that mountain with mannabut only enough for one day at a time (Ex. 16:4).
Every hill in life is too high if we think we must climb it all at once. But no hill is insurmountable if we take it one step forward at a timewith Gods help.
He whose heart is kind beyond all measure
Gives unto each day what He deems best
Lovingly, its part of pain and pleasure,
Mingling toil with peace and rest. Berg

To All my JUST AMY SWEETIES!
On Sweetest Day in 1939 my parents were engaged.. And married in 1940 on Sweetest Day . So this has always been a special day for them.. Dad always fussed over mom & catered to her (not like her BAD daughter)... She never drove & he took her anywhere she wanted.. but she wasn't much of a go-go-go person so the outings weren't over bearing
I will do a lot to make her day special.....after we do the bed change, which is AWFUL for both of us.
FLowers, candy, nice meal etc.. Here is a pix below of their 4th wedding anniversary in 1944. I have had worn my mom's wedding ring for about 16 years now. She had outgrown hand wise both this gorgeous band my dad picked out 60+ years ago & also her diamond dinner ring. My sister in law has/wears the diamond dinner ring & I the band. It is a connection for me to both my parents

Glad they made you laugh! My boss tells everyone he has a happy crowd working for him, and he does! We have a great time, someone’s always joking or pulling a prank.

God is there to give us strength for every hill we have to climb.
How beautiful and reassuring are those words! Thank you, Mr. Mayor for our Daily Bread words to help carry us through.

Numbers
The world is what the world is,
You cant make it perfect.
You cant make it safe.
You cant make it make sense.
If you live an average life,
Half the people that you come to know,
And love,
Will die,
Before you do.
This is a statistic. You can check it out.
Its just numbers at work.
The cold equations.
Numbers at work.
Numbers.
Numb.
Nobody said that Life was fair.
One thing we know for sure.
Death is not fair.
It may be equal,
But it isnt fair.
Young children shouldnt die.
Healthy young adults shouldnt die.
Old people, who have seen too much of sadness,
And have grown weary of the torment,
May welcome uninterrupted sleep.
But Im getting tired of it.
