Dutch Christian naturists forced to cancel naked mass

A church service for Dutch Christian naturists has been cancelled this weekend after hostile reactions from other, more conventional, worshippers.

Naked celebrants abandoned plans to hold a second service after media coverage of their first mass, held in a nudist park during the summer, led to a flood of threatening phone calls and emails from more orthodox Christians.

"I don't understand what all the fuss is about," said a spokesman for the Gan Eden or Garden of Eden group.

"We are just a group of Christians and we want to hold a church service."....

The only nudist I ever met (and I wish to stress that he was fully clothed at the time), was a huge, middle-aged fireman from Glen Burnie, who looked like a shaggy, rather unkempt version of Meat Loaf (or maybe Sam Kinnison).

These “Christians” seem not to understand the Garden of Eden and the fact that the innocence was before the “Fall” where man became by nature rebellious and sinful. They are no Adam or Eve anymore, much as they might want to claim it. People are always trying to get back into the Garden but it is no longer accessible to fallen man, nor should it be. But then, perhaps the concept of the Fall is as disposable to clothing to these people. Incidentally, I wouldn’t want to think about my church being used in such a manner. The word, EWWW comes to mind when I think of naked people sitting at my customary pew.
