He’s kinda tied his hands though, by implicitly stating he supports the bill during Friday’s debate. If he had just kept silent, this course of action could have been much more feasible.
We will lose. McCain has decided to go the Bush route of trying to be “bi-partisan” and “change the tone.” After all, if we actually try to win the election, Katie Couric might call us racists!
Republican elites would rather lose power than have the media say they aren’t being nice. They are weenies.
I think that FR has 48 hours to stop these stupid vanity postings..
Yeah, he should have done this 48 hours ago. But McBonehead missed that big fat glaring opportunity somehow. duh
Agreed. Good points.
Dick Morris on FOX News is correct. Hannity is not correct on this one it wasn’t, and is not, about timing regarding McCain Goes to Washington prior to the bill failing in the House. It about the message that John McCain makes in the next day. Dick Morris is dead on regarding this one. McCain has a very short window he can make a huge change, a huge shift in the direction of this election.
Dick Morris says he has this week to do so. I say McCain has about 48 hours to do so.
I got a gut feeling, McCain isnt going to come out with the message.
And, man, that is going to be real bad news for our country.
Dick Morris is that you? My, you are are busy! Posting if FR and doing Hannity and Colms at the same time!
You are right on target. All this crap about I am going to have Democrat in my cabinet. Yuk. McCain needs to learn to play the blame game ala Obama.
Please stop these Doomsday vanities. Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor??
Pray for W, McCuda and Our Troops
No problem. Jack Bauer can save the world in only 24 hours, so 48 should be plenty of time for McCain.
You are right. Unless some other dramatic news event happens, some war God forbid or other, we are watching the outcome of the election in the next few days unfold.
If he makes a bold move like you propose; he should acknowledge the old bill's weaknesses and address them. He has to offer something better.
How in the hell is Obama getting people to swing to him on the economy?
Let's all be honest here. If Obama had to go up against Romney in an economics debate how could he possibly wind up looking any better than a moron?
Republicans wanted the perfect candidate and instead wound up with the guy they wanted only slightly more that Guliani.
That’s right. They are not friends. They care about themselves. They care about power. That’s IT! If the Republicans don’t start calling a spade a spade and educating the ignorant, the leftists in this country will be destroy it.
Sarahcuda will blow Hairplugs off the stage on Thursday.....
Pray for W? What does that mean? This is crunch time for the November election, and I am suppose to spend my time for W? He is a lame duck.
McCain is the candidate, not Bush.
I pray for John McCain and Sarah Palin.
This is now their chance, all of America is glued to the T.V. and the message of the candidates in regards to this issue, the economy.
They blow this one, man, you better pray for you own. It’s not going to be easy no matter who wins. But you don’t want it to get much, much more scary than it already is.
You may not be scared, but there are enough Americans right now who are.
And what the candidates say right now, is going to be the election.
I hope, I pray, John McCain says the right thing. He has to say it, such that Americans understand, he is on their side, and with their feelings on this. This is the election, right now.
