We will lose. McCain has decided to go the Bush route of trying to be “bi-partisan” and “change the tone.” After all, if we actually try to win the election, Katie Couric might call us racists!

Republican elites would rather lose power than have the media say they aren’t being nice. They are weenies.

You are right on target. All this crap about I am going to have Democrat in my cabinet. Yuk. McCain needs to learn to play the blame game ala Obama.

I agree with you. I have been on a tear all evening about how fed up I am with being nice and how it gets us nowhere. Ever.

Be truthful. If it hurts, it just hurts. Stop being weenies!

Exactly. McCain bonked the pooch when he went along with this plan. We are being out politiced by the dems at the moment.

He lost a golden chance. He is allowing his opponent to paint him. I love the "optimism" I read on this site...but I feel it is very naive.

heck, the media says they are not “nice” anyway, so why even bother trying the “bi-partisan” garbage anymore?

Pretty much. I do not believe McCain will accuse Dems of the Truth---they caused this and now want to write the bailout and be in charge. He needs to spank them. If he doesn't, and continues "we don't need to point the finger of blame at this time", he loses a great oportunity. The "folks" need to know what has and is happening.

I really do think that McCain's age and time in the Senate play against him in THIS way---he cannot get his head around the fact that the Dem. party REALLY harbors Marxists who want to take this country where it has never been before, and that they have made read inroads--precisely because people of mid to very conservative principles cannot actually believe an elected Rep or Senator could actually be Marxist. George Bush cannot believe it either..

I don’t want “bi-partisan.” I don’t want “change the tone.”

I want Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness! I want a strong Capitalistic society, where people are encouraged to donate the charity and spiritual institutions ON THEIR OWN as they see fit! I want a solid Free Market! I want justice and the removal of power of those who try to rob and fool the American people. I want a strong America based off of these things!

That’s what I want.
