Hope I'm weong, but I think McCAin is finished. If he can't hold Colorado and/or Virginia, there's no way he can win. The chances of him flipping Michigan and/or Pennsylvania is pretty slim. We're screwed.
“Hope I’m weong”
I hope it’s not contagious...whatever it is.
There is still a month left. That’s an eternity in a campaign. Anything can happen.
I wish you had more than anecdotal evidence. But, I keep thinking to myself that I felt all was lost at some point in 2000 and 2004 yet that turned out allright.
Oh Yeah, Tell it!
Big bump for the mod with a pair!
If you’re scared, get a dog. Politics isn’t for the lily-livered.
Damn, you viking kitties don’t f*&* around.
Oh horseshit. You people are amazing. I wouldn't want you in my foxhole I can tell you that.
McInsane can still win. However, he’ll need to get down and dirty with Obama. He just needs to remind the american people who Barry is, i.e. Wright, Ayers, etc...
What do you think about Washington? McCain down only 2 points.
What do Vince Foster, Ron Brown and Barack Obama have in common?
I wonder if deep in the night, in his strange hotel room, when no one else is around, B. Obama has questions like this run through his mind.
Get a grip...there’s five weeks left in the election and that is A LIFETIME in politics.
That said, AT this point in time, VA and NC appear to be gone - mostly due to the black vote Obama has mobilized.
However, I still give Ohio, Florida and New Hampshire to McCain. Not enough to win, given the fact Obama has Iowa, New Mexico and Colorado, though.
Whatever you say about him, Obama - or rather Axelrod and Plouffe - have run a good campaign, so far.
If you are Weong, could you give me some of your large salary?
Stand up wny!
Holy crap! That was a good read. Should be required reading in order to vote.
Thank you.
Thanks! Senor Devolve made that pic! :)
I have been saying for a while now that I’d keep an eye on WA. I believe this is a sleeper state for the R’s. The blatant theft of the Governorship in 2004 by the dems, has motivated the R base big time as well as just decent independent folks who watched the dems steal the governorship.
The election is a direct rematch and turnout for those disgusted by 2004 is going to be huge in an effort to make sure that the R gets elected by a big margin so the D’s can’t resteal it. Also WA has purged 500k bogus/dead voters and put 7 or 9 folks in jail since the 2004 election.
Kerry won WA in 04 by about 200k votes, that was with those 500k of dead/fraud voters on the rolls.
I believe WA is a very big sleeper that no national pundent is even talking about. I am not saying it will flip neccessary, but it certainly has the potential to.
Its not likely, but there is the long shot possibility that Washington, and its 11 EC votes could wind up being a deciding factor for the Rs, should the rust belt stay DEM and fauxbama pick up the western states plus IA. IA, CO, NM add up to 21 EC Votes, you add Kerry’s 251 to that and its 272, assuming the rust belt holds D, (now just for record I don’t believe the rust belt will hold D, but just for the sake of argument here, we’ll say it does), if WA flips R, take away 11 EC votes and its 261 for Fauxbama and a loss.
Now, let me say this, on election night Fauxbama holds all the Kerry states and picks up IA, CO and NM, I’d say I wouldn’t bet on WA flipping if that’s how the nights going down.. but it is certainly a possible pick up for the R’s that no one in the national media anyway is paying attention to yet.
I think that mess with the governorship theft is going to spill up and down the ticket for Rs there, and I would be concerned if I were Fauxbama about it. WA cannot be counted on dependably for the Ds because of the 2004 hanky panky.
