By the way, I think everyone deserves ONE vanity per this election cycle. This is mine...so everyone back off!
Blame Rush? Why?
It’s this simple: Republicans are afraid to hold black folks accountable for their actions, e.g. Fannie Mae.
This is not anyone’s fault but the American electorate. If they elect someone like Obama then they deserve what they get. While the rest of us can watch the country go down the toilet.
There is not a single person running for the GOP this cycle that could probably beat ANYONE on the left with the financial mess that just happened and the only ones that saw it coming are the ones who are now being blamed for it.
Rush is right, he is unelectable. There is a class of liberal and a class of conservative who do not watch the news, who do not change their minds and who had those minds made up years ago. I call this class of people the “almost everyone” crowd. This means that almost everyone made up their minds on McCain and Obama a long, long time ago, and they aren’t interested in anything that could possibly come along and ruin it for them. This means, Mr. Unelectable will be writing his concession speech on Nov. 5.
My mother lives in Richmond. Everyone she associates, except I must say, her black friends, are voting for McCain. This is the situation, and no racism intended I promise. It just is what it is. My mom and dad didn’t see the debate - they were still under the impression that McCain was in Washington - something I find hard to comprehend :) I had to tell her that Palin, who she loves, isn’t doing that great right now with her interviews - and she didn’t even know. Neither knew nor cared really, she likes her and as I said above, she’s made up her mind, hates Obama (think he’s a salesman), and will be voting for McCain.
And for some reason, the media and these ‘poll people’ who always seem to side with CNN and liberals in general, didn’t see the same debate as I did. I think McCain cleaned Obama’s clock. McCain’s fine.
I see you instinctively picked the right tag line: “We do not see things as they are. We see things as we are.”
Translation: “I see myself as a LOSER”
Well, I’m replying and not backing off.
“We allowed the press do beat up Bush so badly that he’s just a shell of a President”
“WE” didn’t allow anything. President Bush allowed it to happen. I like the man and respect him as a man and as President. I thank God he won in 2000 and in 2004 because Gore or Kerry would have been far worse for this great Country. He gave us back some dignity in the WH. He gave us 2 Conservative SC Justices. He allowed Americans/our Military to fight the WOT. He supported our Military and is respected among the soldiers as CIC. He tried, but not hard enough, to stop this financial crisis a few years ago. He also didn’t secure our borders which would have helped tremendously in the WOT. He supported and fought for Amnesty for millions of illegals. Also not a great way to fight the WOT. He’s not perfect, none of us are, and I didn’t expect him to be perfect.
We are not responsible for his refusal to fight the MSM.
“For the sake of the country, I believe Hillary would have been a better President. Like Rush, I thought Obama was unelectable. I’m just numb right now to think that my beloved country is SO DAMN STUPID.”
Hillary would be a better President than whom? Obama? McCain?
Up until a few months ago, I never thought I’d vote for McCain. I KNEW I’d never not vote or vote for Obama or Hillary...but never thought I’d actually vote FOR McCain rather than AGAINST Obama or Hillary.
There are tons of things I don’t like about McCain. However, I think he has an excellent chance of winning this election. Especially against Obama. He’d have less of a chance against Hillary. IMO. His choice for VP was brilliant, imo. Obama’s choice for VP was stupid.
I think it’s going to be a close race because so many are uniformed. McCain will pull it off. He’s attracting moderates, Reagan Democrats, women (because of Palin).
I never thought in a million years I’d have a McCain bumper sticker on my van or yard sign on my property. Palin as VP has a lot to do with that but the deciding factor was Obama as POTUS. He’s going to be more easily defeated than Hillary would have been, imo. It’s gonna be close but he’s got a real shot at winning.
sometimes you have to do the obvious and stop trying to second guess everyone...
I would hate Hitlery....but at least she's a known quantity....
yep....the chaos theory really worked...
however....good news...MCCAIN STILL WINS.....
Well, what I’ve been wondering is if Rush underestimated the massive and completely corrupt forces behind Obama. I don’t believe Hillary could have pulled those forces together the way Hussein has. Operation Chaos did “bloody up Obama”, but I’m afraid, too, Hildy. Between the non-stop Hussein adoration in the MSM, ACORN, the corrupt Chicago machine, and Soros et al, I am very worried.
No, I wont..
Blame Limbaugh you have got to be kidding.
Rush is very, very powerful, isn’t he?
