When are we going to be allowed to blame Rush for Obama?
Sept. 28, 2008 | Hildy

Posted on 09/28/2008 8:13:14 PM PDT by Hildy

Up until today I was sure that McCain would win..and I've always thought he'd win by alot. I didn't take into account just how unfair the press was going to be. It's a never ending drumbeat, like the article that was posted last week. It's unrelenting..and it's always negative towards McCain and positive towards the "ONE." But it looks like it's working and we might have a President BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA. I'm glad my Father is not alive to see this.

We need big prayers, people..I don't know what it's going to take. I can't believe people think the Dems will be better for the economy.

We allowed the press do beat up Bush so badly that he's just a shell of a President. Some of it was deserved, but the level of it was not. And we just let it happen.

For the first time in years, I am depressed about the future.

For the sake of the country, I believe Hillary would have been a better President. Like Rush, I thought Obama was unelectable. I'm just numb right now to think that my beloved country is SO DAMN STUPID.

Operation chaos??? REMEMBER THAT? I know it seems like it was years ago, but it was only a few months.

Yeah, you have no idea what you're talking about.

WHY IS HE SO FAR AHEAD IN THE POLLS? WHY?

I recall that a couple of the polls that came out last week were skewed to the left with a lower sampling of Republicans. Also, folks may not be so quick to state they are opposed to obama for the irrational fear of looking like a racist. Whatever the reason, all that matters is who shows up to vote on election day.

I remember hearing car horns blare in celebration throughout Philly when the early polls showed that kerry had won. It was a real delight to hear the horns fade when the actual results were reported.

I understand your concerns. I'm ready to vote now!!!

One last comment, Hildy, and then I need my beauty sleep (this week was a killer!) If you were away, you might have missed Lady Lynn de Rothschild on with the Friends yesterday. Her appearance made my day and I posted about it a few times, so pardon the repeat. Anyway, she was GUSHING over Sarah Palin and talked about a campaign event in Michigan with Dem and Repub women who felt the same. Then she was all smiles and said that her very famous Dem friend, who she wouldn't name but I think it's Martha Stewart, was at a dinner with Sarah. She told her--Lynn, I wanted to not like her...but she was amazing!

Now, this Lady Lynn is holding a fundraiser here in NY in October for McCain and is a great asset to our team. The Friends just adore her and she really is a joy to watch.

BTW, sorry to pile on late after you’ve been corrected on the Rush stuff...and I’m with you...hope Obama doesn’t win this thing.

Sorry for piling on. If I were king I’d be swinging the meataxe on the dozens of concern trolls that are in operation tonight. Anybody with an 08 signup who posted “we’ve lost” or “we can’t win” would go poof. They are having their intended effect.

McCain should call him out on his gun control votes.

Then the MSM would have to look at it, which they have not.

Hell, McCain should call him out on a lot of things.

Guns.

Killing live aborts.

Money from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Acorn.

Bill Ayers.

Laurna Dorn(SP).

Rev. Wright.

FR Fleger (sp).

Indonesian passport.

Dual citizenship.

Fake Birth certificate posted on HIS site.

And, finally, the most liberal voting record in the US Senate. Even while he has voted present on some of the more controversial bills.

Excellent points/observations. The amount of material that can be used on this guy is overwhelming. He could be beaten worse than Dukakis if the GOP would step it up.

Obama is going to lose.

Did you really think the polling companies were just going to fold on this?

they are invested in this hoax.

He is losing.

“Finally, ask around where you live and work. I was shocked to learn that all of my Dem friends and family are thrilled to be voting for McCain”

Same here in California. Every Democrat I’ve spoken to says that Obama is unacceptable, they’ll be voting McCain.

yes! :) I was away with a group of friends in the mountains this weekend and it was so peaceful and quiet and I only checked my blackberry ONCE. (To see how McCain did in the debate, I still haven’t watched it for myself). When I came home, the amount of negativity all over the internet towards McCain was downright FRIGHTENING. But now I feel better.....

I see you instinctively picked the right tag line: “We do not see things as they are. We see things as we are.”

Translation: “I see myself as a LOSER”

Well, I’m replying and not backing off.

“We allowed the press do beat up Bush so badly that he’s just a shell of a President”

“WE” didn’t allow anything. President Bush allowed it to happen. I like the man and respect him as a man and as President. I thank God he won in 2000 and in 2004 because Gore or Kerry would have been far worse for this great Country. He gave us back some dignity in the WH. He gave us 2 Conservative SC Justices. He allowed Americans/our Military to fight the WOT. He supported our Military and is respected among the soldiers as CIC. He tried, but not hard enough, to stop this financial crisis a few years ago. He also didn’t secure our borders which would have helped tremendously in the WOT. He supported and fought for Amnesty for millions of illegals. Also not a great way to fight the WOT. He’s not perfect, none of us are, and I didn’t expect him to be perfect.

We are not responsible for his refusal to fight the MSM.

“For the sake of the country, I believe Hillary would have been a better President. Like Rush, I thought Obama was unelectable. I’m just numb right now to think that my beloved country is SO DAMN STUPID.”

Hillary would be a better President than whom? Obama? McCain?

Up until a few months ago, I never thought I’d vote for McCain. I KNEW I’d never not vote or vote for Obama or Hillary...but never thought I’d actually vote FOR McCain rather than AGAINST Obama or Hillary.

There are tons of things I don’t like about McCain. However, I think he has an excellent chance of winning this election. Especially against Obama. He’d have less of a chance against Hillary. IMO. His choice for VP was brilliant, imo. Obama’s choice for VP was stupid.

I think it’s going to be a close race because so many are uniformed. McCain will pull it off. He’s attracting moderates, Reagan Democrats, women (because of Palin).

I never thought in a million years I’d have a McCain bumper sticker on my van or yard sign on my property. Palin as VP has a lot to do with that but the deciding factor was Obama as POTUS. He’s going to be more easily defeated than Hillary would have been, imo. It’s gonna be close but he’s got a real shot at winning.

I think we’re doomed. We have a populace of morons who have swallowed the MSM/Left Wing bullshit hook line and sinker. The Dancing with the Stars , American Idol , backwards baseball crowd has been lulled to sleep while
We’re going to give 700+ billion dollars to the same greedy jerks who created the mess in the first place. Insanity , a kid could see through it if he looked. Yet , the public swallows it . The guys who caused all this are blaming those who warned against it . Fanny and Freddy gave out loans to ANYONE who was a minority for reasons of political correctness even though they had no means/intention of paying back . Geeez, what a surprise the whole thing finally crashed. . Everyone is sooo damn scared of being called a racist so no one did a thing about it. Every school out there is teaching kids the most liberal of ideas , the most anti American ideas. Go ahead , talk to ANY school kid and they spit back how wonderful Obama is , how we’re killing the earth , how much America sucks. And we wonder WHY Obama is going to win ?( Oh yes ,he will) Do any of you think that we here on FR represent the MAJORITY of Americans? I’m scared and I’m disgusted. I will continue to fight and call and write and tell all these greedy self serving “politicians” that I’m beyond unhappy and I’m wise to them .
