Up until today I was sure that McCain would win..and I've always thought he'd win by alot. I didn't take into account just how unfair the press was going to be. It's a never ending drumbeat, like the article that was posted last week. It's unrelenting..and it's always negative towards McCain and positive towards the "ONE." But it looks like it's working and we might have a President BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA. I'm glad my Father is not alive to see this.
We need big prayers, people..I don't know what it's going to take. I can't believe people think the Dems will be better for the economy.
We allowed the press do beat up Bush so badly that he's just a shell of a President. Some of it was deserved, but the level of it was not. And we just let it happen.
For the first time in years, I am depressed about the future.
For the sake of the country, I believe Hillary would have been a better President. Like Rush, I thought Obama was unelectable. I'm just numb right now to think that my beloved country is SO DAMN STUPID.
Honestly, the USA is screwed no matter which one wins. Obama would just finish the USA of faster than McCain, that’s the only difference.
You're just figuring this out now?
I thought the fact that Nancy Pelosi is 2 heartbeats away from the White house would be enough of a clue.
Hussein Obama is not going to win this time, but the damage was done when they expanded the franchise to those under 21 and instituted Motor Voter.
Not a question of if the Republic will fall, but of when.
I don’t think you understood what Operation Chaos was about.
That makes two of us. They left us a GREAT country. I feel as though I've failed my kids and grandkids. I feel like a heel.
Hillary would have been much tougher to beat. She can actually pretend to be a centrist. Barack Hussein Obama has no such cover.
Obama is going to get crushed, there is a mountain of ammo to use against Barack Hussein Obama. There will never be a President Barack Hussein Obama.
BTW, how is it Rush’s fault, he was telling people to vote for Hillary.
Hildy,
We would be in much worse of a condition with Hillary.
If we are going to blame anyone for anything, look in the mirror. We only have the power for our own personal sphere of influence. We could just have easily said it is Ralph Nader’s fault, George Bush’s fault, or Al Gore’s fault.
It is what it is, deal with it.
Frankly, I would rather compete against a bumbling idiot than the Clinton machine. The game isn’t over, we are just entering the fourth quarter and the game is tied.
You’re buying into the Obama marketing and drinking the kool aid of national polls. Just remember the state by state polls are all that matters.
Yes we MIGHT lose but it is by no means a done deal.
NO...PLEASE LET’S NOT REWRITE HISTORY. Hillary would have been the unbeatable nominee if there were no Operation Chaos. Rush wanted the “UNELECTABLE” obama to win the nomination, but keep Hillary around long enough to bloody him up. Which she did...but NEVER did Rush think that Obama could win the general.
Wasn’t Rush urging folks to vote for hillary in the democrat primaries in order to cause strife in the dnc?
Well, I know I did not listen to Rush during the primaries.
One should probably be aware of the basic facts on a subject before posting a vanity about it.
Operation Chaos was an effort to keep Hillary in the Democratic Nomination process as long as possible.
I understand very well what Operation Chaos was about. It was keeping Hillary in the race, which allowed her to bring out all the negatives on Obama that the republicans couldn’t and forced Obama to concentrate on her and not McCain. She weakened him significantly and made it close.
Without OC, the primary would have been slam dunk OVER months earlier and none of the stuff we know now would have come out.
How often do you listen to Rush?
Rush is right, he is unelectable. There is a class of liberal and a class of conservative who do not watch the news, who do not change their minds and who had those minds made up years ago. I call this class of people the “almost everyone” crowd. This means that almost everyone made up their minds on McCain and Obama a long, long time ago, and they aren’t interested in anything that could possibly come along and ruin it for them. This means, Mr. Unelectable will be writing his concession speech on Nov. 5.
My mother lives in Richmond. Everyone she associates, except I must say, her black friends, are voting for McCain. This is the situation, and no racism intended I promise. It just is what it is. My mom and dad didn’t see the debate - they were still under the impression that McCain was in Washington - something I find hard to comprehend :) I had to tell her that Palin, who she loves, isn’t doing that great right now with her interviews - and she didn’t even know. Neither knew nor cared really, she likes her and as I said above, she’s made up her mind, hates Obama (think he’s a salesman), and will be voting for McCain.
And for some reason, the media and these ‘poll people’ who always seem to side with CNN and liberals in general, didn’t see the same debate as I did. I think McCain cleaned Obama’s clock. McCain’s fine.
Hear, hear.
I need a dose of Rush tomorrow...
I agree that Hillary would be a better President than Obama. Hillary has much more interest in power than in ideology. She would govern from the middle as her husband did. You might scoff at that but Bill Clinton was to the political right of Jimmy Carter and was more fiscally responsible than George W (but then who isn't?).
Op Chaos was about keeping Hillary in the game.
Let her do the dirty work and bruise Obama. She did.
The PUMAS are still out there saying Hell No! to Obama.
Are you listening to the same Rush?
