Awesome quote from Thaddeus Mcotter!
"Congress has left 700-billion dollars worth of dung on the taxpayers doorstep, rang the doorbell and ran away"
"And now they expect us to say thank you?"
He was just on Foxnews. This guy ROCKS.
He was visibly pissed.

... and take Pelosi, Shumer, et al with you!
HE’S A KEEPER! http://www.youtube.com/user/RepMcCotter
Awesome!
Thank you for finding the video.. and for him posting it!
I watched him last night on c-span, him and a handful of others recording their statements into the record. It’s a shame more people weren’t there and it wasn’t shown by the msm. He was wonderful. I tried to send him an email but it wouldn’t go through because I am not in his state. I was able to get through to Rep Scott Garrett.
I wanted Rep McCotter to know how moving his statement was. I was moved.
They reconvene at 1pm today, covered by c-span and I’m sure we’ll learn more.
Yeah, it stinks (for taxpayers) but it is designed to get the Democrats past the election where they plan to own the WH and both Houses of Congress by veto and filibuster proof margins. They will then be in position to handle the “crisis.”
He's amazing.

McCOTTER FOR PRESIDENT!!!
“We supported the Gen. Betraus surge but will not support the Paulson splurge” (not exact but close)
That line cracked me up and oh so true....the ‘Paulson splurge’
When the last “deal” fell through, some multi-millionaire banker in Britain didn’t jump, but he couldn’t wait any longer for the US taxpayer to rescue him, so he threw himself in front of a train.
You are welcome.
Good for this guy.
Yep, saw that thread and posted the pic there too. I have no sympathy for these crooks.
He was even more fired up last night, he spoke at about 10 pm from the gallery not the podium up front. I can’t find it posted on youtube yet, hopefully later today it will be available.
The more I think about the more I'm convinced the best action is to let the market reestablish it's self on the long term value of the companies the stock represents, and flush away this unsustainable “DUNG BUBBLE”. Sure my puny little 401k may look worse off, but the number of shares will remain, and they may be better poised for steady real growth.
Keep Pressing On, Thaddeus
