Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!
Aw, c’mon...
Here Lil’ Lembas...
Here “Nilly”...
it’d be great
That will not be going onto our list. Heh.
Clare is taking ‘Attic’ Greek this semester!
LOL!
Of course you’re saying that to someone who named his pets “Samuel” and “Abigail.”
Mrs. found the LOLcats website. She said, “It could make me want a kitten.”
I’m doomed.
They're growin' up!
Are ya keepin’ ‘em all???
All those yes.
We didn’t intend to have that many, but Peanut and Jack, the last two, the tortie and the orange one, were and are still fairly ‘feral’ and wouldn’t make the greatest pets so I don’t want to give them away. I can pet them now sometimes and they’re coming around by living with us, but that’s about it.
Yer gonna need a bigger cardboard house...
You got that right. :)
Peanut and Jack may come around and be pets, or they may become barn cats, but I don’t want to kick them out with winter coming, so they have over the winter to decide. It’ll depend a lot on whether, once they get outside, if they will let me catch them or call them back in or not.
Or once they figure out that the heat is inside the house...
Peanut says "See, I'm sweet!"
OK now she says... "Geeze... I'm between a Wicket and a hard place..."
Just make sure you keep ecurbh around so people don’t start referring to you as the funny lady with all the cats.
(I’m off to a meeting...)
Hey - we’ve been wanting to invite you over for a visit! Long time no see! Want to come over for dinner tomorrow night? We’ll have salmon! :)
Now you’re being mean to Corin.
Well Tuesday night got down to 33 degrees, the 2nd coldest October day since 1858. Where IS that global warming when you need it. Of course they had a mini blizzard up in the northeast, so I’m glad I’m here.
Heh... I had a feeling he’d see it that way. But we really were already planning on having fish, and there is enough extra for whoever wants to visit Friday. :)
