Naw, it’s growing pains from a three-server expansion. It’s going to take some tuning for a little while. We lost a major MySQL table that JohnRob’s bringing back from tape, which will mean that old articles aren’t going to be available for awhile and also is affecting the search engine because there isn’t anything there to search for.

The load is probably greater lately from more traffic as we get closer to the election and maybe having more people makes some glitches happen?

Nah, it’s just server issues related to a reported upgrade. BUT - your question is completely valid considering the well-documented actions of Obama supporters during the DNC contest. Obama’s supporters, even using HIS website, often shut down pro-Hillary sites during the DNC contest.
