t appears the Lane Kiffin experiment in Oakland may really be over this time ... no, really ... seriously.

Kiffin has been informed by Raiders officials that Al Davis intends to remove him as the team's head coach as early as Monday, FOXSports.com has learned.

Davis blamed Kiffin for the Raiders' 24-23 loss on Sunday to the Bills, and told his underlings that he will make the move on Monday. However, word was leaked out last week in a similar fashion and Kiffin survived. Players reached out to FOXSports.com to express hope that the move would not be made, and with Davis you can never be certain.

Geeesh, there's less job security working for Al Davis than there is working for Jerry Jones.

Why do you say that? He kept Dave Campo as a head coach for three years, and he's even hired him back as a defensive coach. Jerry is actually quite loyal compared to most owners.

I am a long time Dallas fan, but when Landry found out that he was fired by turning on the news that night.....

Jerry and Al are 2 peas in a pod. I hate it when he comes down and takes over the coaching role in the 3rd Quarter. He has fired some great coaches because they have a personality confict with him (Jones).

As an owner...If they are winning games for you, and getting you to either the play-offs or Super Bowl.. Deal with it. He doesn't have to see them on a social side or have drinks with them.

Both of them need to spend time together in a retirement village in S. FL playing checkers...lol

Last Monday the media said Kiffen was going to be fired and he still coached the Raiders this past Sunday. Time will tell.

Not true - it was actually worse than that.

Jerry Jones went out and found Coach Landry on a golf course and told him in the middle of his round.

That's just downright mean.

There’s not a person on this planet that wants to deal with Al’s crap. I can’t wait til he’s gone. Then maybe MY Raiders will have a chance at being a good football team as apposed to a good soap opera.

Both Jerry Jones and Al Davis are some of the most meddling classless owners in pro sports. When their teams win, its in spite of them.

The Raiders will have to deal with a lot of trouble before their bad karma is finally resolved.

It’s been 20 years already since Jones bought the Cowboys. Seems like yesterday. Amazing...

Cowboys are the most talented team in the NFC. But my question is will Romo turn into Eli Manning, a loser in the playoffs his first couple of tries, to the next Joe Montana. Or is he a regular season wonder. Until he gets it done in the postseason, I’ll bet on the Giants to go back the the superbowl.
