I think this is violating, disgusting and beyond offensive. Whomever did this should be grabbed by the FBI and severely punished. This just opens up countless people (including her CHILDREN) for psychos' threats, harassment and even possible danger. Who has the time to do stuff like this, and why? Just sickening.

Unlike all of the thousand and one other scandals called -gate, this is the 2008 equivalent of Watergate, especially if the people who did this can be linked back to Obama’s campaign. This was a politically motivated break-in in order to intercept private communications. The Bush administration should stop their usual turn-the-other-cheek BS and throw the full investigative power of the Department of Justice to track down who did this before the election. If it can be tied back to Obama then nail him on it too. If (God forbid) Obama is elected, I want President Biden having to consider whether to give him a pardon on not in a couple years.

...most likely a dimwit RAT operative, with close ties to the top of some RAT politician in which a certain amount of info will be disclosed and than the matter will drop from public record and all will be quickly dealt with,... with no punishment because a deal will be struck in DC and people like me and you will always wonder
Politics as usual

Being that Gov. Palin is not the owner of the server that was violated she is not the victim of a crime. Instead, Yahoo is that one that is the victim and they should pursue charges against the hackers.

It is time for the Secret Service to step in and go after these scum bags.

This is more than an attack on their privacy and the people involved need to be put in jail for a LONG time.

So, Yahoo! goes for criminal and Palin et. al. go for civil.

Yahoo and other Internet email providers promise security as part of the package. Sure I know how frail that promise is, but they promise it nevertheless. Individuals expect competency from these providers. They are indeed victims beyond Yahoo, and are themselves violated. They should have expectation of redress.

Yahoo’s entire net worth would make a nice college fund for Bristol’s baby. I hope the Palins end up owning it.

At reddit.com, where they loudly proclaim their devotion to internet privacy, all of the posters there today are furious.

No, not furious at a breach of privacy. But rather, they are furious that the idiot hacker didn't grab more private emails and publish them, while he had the chance!

Scumbag hypocrites. Someone should log the words at these "internet privacy" forums and throw them back at them later.

“...the law will catch up to the hackers...”

nah. this will be forgotten because left wingers can do no wrong as they are officials of the revolutionary army who are above the law and besides, they know lots of lawyers.

IMHO

This seems like a job for the FBI and Secret Service.

Seems like too many hackers are stupid stuck in the teen years flunky’s who have never had to account for anything.

Bout time they realized this isn’t about pitching a political temper tantrum. This is serious serious business.

I said it on the other thread, and I’ll repeat it here:

Does anyone really think anyone will ever be punished, let alone caught?

BULL!

These people represent the majority of the American Sheep, so their actions are validated.

Sorry for the angry punctuation error.

Flunkies, not Flunky’s. And I still may have that wrong, but I don’t care.

Put the losers in jail.

Not a chance. You got to remember that this RAT machine, born and bred in Chicago, is powerful. Nothing will happen.
