Good morning, N.Y. The only thing I can figure out on why those Catholics are voting for the opponent of McCain is that they are so into deeply hating President Bush that they ignore issues (such as the radical pro-abortion views of the CRAT candidate) with the erroneous belief (as they have been fed by listening to and reading the MSM) that McCain-Palin is Bush II.

I listened to that "my Muslim faith" several times. That is very hard for me to do, because I detest every utterance out of his oral orifice. But I listened intently. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that there is something very wrong with his 'faith'. As the Biblical test says, "By their fruits you will know them", I present one of his fruits: His support of infanticide by opposing the Born Alive Infant Protection Act.

Obama is hiding alot from the country. It galls me that self important MSM choose to go glibly on their way and not really ask the tough questions to obama. I think though in the end this will be their undoing.

I welcome the tough questions on Sarah Palin. She is more than capable in swatting these qestions and these people down. I think that appeals to many in this country.

I was absolutely incensed with the flagrant condescending way that Gibson so rudely addressed Mrs. Palin. I wish I had the power to walk in there, interrupt his egotistic agenda, and fired that arrogant bas$#%^ on the spot.

N.Y., I have been screaming from the mountaintops the danger this individual that the CRAT party insists on ramming down America's throat. For the last several elections, the CRAT party has 'offered' to America, increasingly in an exponential fashion, more dangerous candidates. This election was to be Hillary's, based on the previous elections from Uox42 to algore to kerry. But, they have skipped ahead to what they would have 'offered' America in 2016 and put this monster in now. There was supposed to be one in between Hillary and this nightmare in 2012 if Hillary lost this election. But, being driven by the insane radical left fringe, analogous to the insane Islamic extremist fringe, they have 'offered' this nightmare to America, and millions of Americans just do not have the discernment to understand the danger this situation poses to our republic. After he appoints 2 radical leftists to the USSC, the ENTIRE government will be under total control of the insane radical left fringe.

It is VITAL to our existence that we win this election.

I remember Rush saying a month ago how the Republicans on Capital Hill always want to compromise to show the world they can get along. The dems don't and because of it we are dealing with a marxist candidate.

I think so many are energized by Palin because we see someone who won't back down, and clings to conservative values. I am hoping this trend continues.

Sarah Palin's emergence onto the national scene could not have come at a better time for this country.

It is an interesting read to discover just how Obama arrived as the Presidental candidate for the Dim party.

He was elected Senator in Illinois because BOTH the Dimocrap and Republican candidates, that year, were mired in sex scandals. Obama slipped in by default and became the Messiah - not because he has great intellect, experience, etc, but because he is Black and to quote Biden "cleans up real nice" and can read a teleprompter. We all know what happens when the teleprompter goes dark, he stumbles over his words BIG time!

Very interesting listening to John Rothmann (KGO 810 AM) filling in for Ray Talifero - both very liberal, as are their callers.

Extreme panic is setting in amongst the slobbering liberals - they are now trying to find the right scenario or Biden to step down and Hillary to step in.

They feel Biden is pulling Obama down and know Sarah Palin has given McCain a HUGE boost and is the breath of fresh air the country has been longing for.

Why they think thunder thighs can compete with Sarah for the "fresh air" vote is beyond me.

Rush was right, and isn't he always right? This has been a huge flaw in the Republican philosophy for years. It's like wanting to 'reach across the aisle' to a rattlesnake. I don't understand why the Republicans that try to do this 'reaching' don't see that no matter how much we offer our desire to work with them that the reverse is absolutely false. They not only don't want to work with us, they want us out of the picture and they want COMPLETE CONTROL. You are so correct, N.Y.

Changing VP Candidates would signify a huge Flip Flop. Can he afford that? Does Hillary want to help him become CIC? Hillary doesn’t have time to have a major face lift, and she doesn’t want to sit on the stage with SP without having major work done.

There is really a groundswell for Sarah.

I am seeing more McCain signs than ever. Even though this is a very liberal area of Wisconsin, I am encourgaged by the emergence of these signs.

Good morning everyone, I’ll check in here as we’ll have to put the satellite dish down later today and probably have it down most of the weekend. Will check in as able.

kassie, do you remember the Walnut Valley festival in Winfield that happens this time every fall? We drove close to that area on Wednesday and didn’t observe anything out of the ordinary with the Walnut River. BUT, in the past 24 hours they’ve had several inches of rain and have EVACUATED the campers out of the Cowley Co. Fairgrounds. (There are a lot, that festival is quite large sometimes upward of 8000 to 10,000 people attending.)

If they get a lot more rain, it’ll be questionable as to how much of the festival will actually be able to occur. There will be many disappointed folks for sure.

As for us, we’re not close to any major streams or rivers although flooding is certainly a concern in this area. Also some tornados that might arise later today, will have to keep monitoring although there really isn’t anywhere to seek refuge except the shower house.....a frame building.

We had a beatiful day yesterday with sunshine in the afternoon. We got in about 4 hours of jamming with some really good pickers and that was fun. Everybody was trying to take advantage of the nice weather while it lasted.

Prayers for all those so badly affected by Ike and those who will be.

That is an excellent synopsis, bev. He slipped in there like a snake. There is something sinister about this entire ordeal. There is a bucketload of CRAT candidates that are way more palatable to America, but, because of that damn#$ speech this despot delivered at the 2004 CRAT convention, overwhelmed millions of Americans (including, embarrassingly, a frustrating number of Republicans), and initiated this nightmare into his rock star elevation to America, they got this abomination on their ticket.
