SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ― Need a place to stick lipstick, credit cards or maybe your cell phone without carrying a purse? How about sticking them in your cleavage?

A Northern California woman has invented something called the 'Cleavage Caddy' which is like having a purse in your bra.

Laura McLaren came up with an insert with pockets, that goes into your bra making it easier to hold items without the worry of a purse.

There are several different styles and of course sizes. The price is about $30 for the 'Cleavage Caddy."

My aunt (who was born in 1896) used to sew pockets in all of her bras—which my uncle called “tit racks”. Too bad she didn’t patent the idea.

I have to send this to my coworker who keeps her cell phone in her bra.

Reminds me of an old...and fondly tasteless...joke:

Why did the blonde woman have rectangular breasts?

She forgot to take the kleenix out of the box.

I should probably erase my name before I confess, but I don’t need to purchase no caddy, I’ve been using mine as an extra “breast” pocket for many years. Recently my husband and I were in a bookstore during a great sale when my daughter called to suggest some titles to look for. The phone kept ringing but I couldn’t find it. I had to go over to a table to take everything out of my purse while searching, the phone is still ringing but I couldn’t find it. My husband is looking at me like, answer it already, and I remembered. It was in my “breast” pocket. Great hiding place for extra cash on a trip.

Gotta love those antique aunts ... my great aunt used to crochet these little purses with a necklace-like strap to hang around your neck and to tuck the pocket inside your bra ... it was supposed to hold folded cash. She made me one when I headed overseas. Practical Yankee lady that. ;)

Why does that remind me of New Years’ Eve in Times Square?
