I think Laura was on in Cleveland on WHK 1420, which is also a Salem-affiliated station.
This won't affect all markets of course. I'm sure she will continue to be on WTKK Boston (Greater Media), WABC NYC (Citadel) etc. But if you tune in Monday for your "healthy...radio...addiction" and it's not there (in 20 some markets; I think she said it was 20 markets), well, search around or try her site
The other day we found out about a lawsuit by some L.A.
moonbat charging that KRLA wasn’t serving the public
interest by being all-Republican/conservative all the time.
(he apparently couldn’t find the NPR and Air America
affiliates on his radio). The various KRLA talk hosts
were named as co-defendents in his suit including Laura
but she’s gone after today.

San Diego’s affiliate 1170 sucked anyway. Great programming, no power. She needs a 50,000 watter.
Weaning myself off Laura. Brian & Judge are good and Dennis Miller deserves a shot also.
I’ve listened to Laura for years, but her buddies Noonan, Andrea Mitchell, etc. are getting the free pass from her. I believe Laura needs to take the advice that she serves out frequently....time to move out of the beltway or at least get outside of the DC culture.
Any guesses on who KRLA will move into her former slot?
I think this is a Salem tactic. They carry a show, allow it to become popular and then start asking for a fee to carry the show.
I believe that is what they did to Dave Ramsey (the finance guy) a few years ago. They asked him to pay somewhere between a million and two million dollars to clear his show on their stations. I wonder if that’s what is going on with Laura.
KRLA in Los Angeles can be contacted at: info@krla870.com . I let them know I thot it was a really stupid decision, and that I would be off to 1260 am.
She may already be gone from KRLA. This morning, her show began with a message: “you’re listening to the best of the Laura Ingraham Show”—in other words, a rerun.
Since nothing is older than yesterday’s news, I switched over to KFI, but I could only take so much of Bill Handel bashing Sarah Palin as a “warmonger” for noting—correctly—that the NATO treaty contains an attack-one-attack-all provision. I then surfed over to KABC, and finally went back to my computer and FR.
I was wondering why Mike Gallager was on this morning instead of Laura and I found your article. I don’t really get it. What happened? They couldn’t negotiate a contract? I wasn’t always thrilled with Laura’s show, but I’m not a big fan of Gallager either.
Still waiting to hear about the new Dallas station. Boortz is now on in her place on KSKY.
