Thanks for the great post. It says it all in one short place.

Now, waddawedowitit? This could very well be a replay of Bush '92, when he refused to use a mountain of criminal evidence from Arkansas court records, bank records, and news stories.

Bush Papa had all the sleazy details on "pardons for money" etc. Not a peep from him and you know the rest.

Whoa doggies, and holy carp!

I tell ya, the more I read and learn about this charlatan the more frightened I get. And after reading this, I need my asthma inhaler.

[Resisting the urge to say “breathalyzer” because this is no joking matter.]

I thought b.hussein also announced for President at Ayers’ home - is that correct?

I don't want to give an answer w/ out a valid link. I know that his political coming out party in 1995 was at Ayres home (announce candidacy other then President at that point) (link in post above).

I think the answer is in here...(short on time today have deadlines at work):

http://www.americanissuesproject.org/pdf/AIP_Know_Enough_Research.pdf

ETL may have link.

You see, I think the association with Ayers, although it may be a problem, could have an innocent explanation. Ayers and his father are wealthy, and big power players in Chi-town. A young man who wanted to break into local politics could seek out their friendship for entirely non-ideological motives.

But we know that there is much, much more to it because of Bernadine Dohrn, and especially Mike Klonsky.

In the universe of post-1969 subversive radicals, Dohrn is worse than Ayers (dig it) and Klonsky is worse than both.

“A young man who wanted to break into local politics could seek out their friendship for entirely non-ideological motives.”

Actually, I could see an Iranian politician chumming up to Ayers, but not a post 9-11 US politician. It’s like Cynthia McKinney writing to that Sultan for cash.

Come to think of it, this is an interesting day to be thinking of Ayers: 9-10.

Why did Obama get hired as a "summer associate" in 1989 at the law firm which had hired Ayers' wife, and where Ayers' father was a prominent friend of the managing partner at Sidley & Austin?

I lived in Hyde Park for a year in the 60's, - the place is like a small town - the cool people know each other or know of each other.

Hyde Park's an odd reflection of the dem party - lots of poor people holding up a small cadre of elite members of the leftist intelligentsia.

Obama could be a pawn - it would fit. He doesn't have that Chicago radical "feel". A "feel" that would prevent him from being elected to any office outside an inner city environment. That would give him an advantage and appeal to the Hype Park subset of the Chicago machine - Electability.

But that's too tin foil-ey to me. It's probably more a "group-think" thing. Over time, Obama has grown to think like the group.

Then again, he did move up in Chicago politics veeeery quickly. And that's not something a person can do without help - major help - from Hyde Park radicals or the machine...

It's too bad MSM reporters can find Alaska on a map, but not the the south side of Chicago. If they ever do, they should look up an alderman near the University of Chicago and have a chat.

As leader of the Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist) in 1977 [not to be confused with Communist Party USA. CPML no longer exists, CPUSA formed decades earlier and is still around-ETL], he [Mike Klonski] travelled to Beijing and was toasted by the senior Beijing leadership.

[snip]

This is the man who recently embarassed the Obama campaign.

One thing I keep wondering: who is behind the anarchists? I had been thinking Putin, but what about China?

The anarchists are anti-capitalist revolutionaries (nothing at all to do with the Islamic nutcases, although all are allied in their anti-Americanism). You'll find them (anarchists) at every major "anti-war" rally. They never seem to openly admit they are communist, yet they work hand in hand with the communists. Then again, the leaders of the so-called "anti-war" movement never admit they are communists either, when in fact, every one of the major "anti-war" coalitions around today, or in the past for that matter, were/are put together by communist organizations. In the past several radical left groups, including Bill Ayers' Weather Underground, were indeed linked to foreign communist governments (Russia, Cuba and North Vietnam). Communist Party USA were linked as well, as was John Kerry's Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW). There were probably others.

The major "anti-war" groups of today are,

"United for Peace and Justice"
Close affiliate: Communist Party USA

"A.N.S.W.E.R." and "Troops Out Now"
Founder: Workers World Party

"World Can't Wait--Drive Out the Bush Regime"
Founder: Revolutionary Communist Party

Who We Are/Points of Unity

The RNC Welcoming Committee is an anarchist/anti-authoritarian organizing body formed to prepare for the 2008 Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota. The RNC-WC, composed primarily of Twin Cities-based anarchists and anti-authoritarians, will function as an informational clearinghouse and organize a spokescouncil for RNC resistance. We will coordinate logistics (food, housing, transportation), and engage in education and outreach.

Without falling prey to the centralized, hierarchical tendencies that have dominated such convergences in the past, we hope that the RNC-WC will maintain a unified, anti-authoritarian presence at the 2008 RNC. Our numbers are huge, and it’s time that our actions reflected that.

Following are our points of unity. We invite all individuals and groups committed to these ideas to participate in the Welcoming Committee.

Those who work with the RNC Welcoming Committee must agree to:

1. A rejection of Capitalism, Imperialism, and the State;

2. Resist the commodification of our shared and living Earth;

3. Organize on the principles of decentralization, autonomy, sustainability, and mutual aid;

4. Work to end all relationships of domination and subjugation, including but not limited to those rooted in patriarchy, race, class, and homophobia;

5. Oppose the police and prison-industrial complex, and maintain solidarity with all targets of state repression;

6. Directly confront systems of oppression, and respect the need for a diversity of tactics.

Barack Obama, from Dreams from My Father, Three Rivers Press, New York, Revised Edition, 2004, ISBN 1-4000-8277-3, p. 76-7:
"But by the time I met Frank [Frank Marshall Davis] he must have been pushing eighty, with a big, dewlapped face and an ill-kempt gray Afro that made him look like an old, shaggy-maned lion. He would read us his poetry whenever we stopped by his house, sharing whiskey with Gramps out of an emptied jelly jar."

Obama’s Red Mentor Praised Red Army
AIM Report | By Cliff Kincaid | April 30, 2008

Barack Obama’s childhood mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, a member of the Moscow-controlled Communist Party USA, wrote a poem dedicated to the Soviet Red Army. “Smash on, victory-eating Red Army,” he declared. He also wrote poems attacking traditional Christianity and the work of Christian missionaries.

The “Red Army” poem goes beyond hoping for the communists to beat the Nazis in World War II and hails the Soviet revolution. It says:

Show the marveling multitudes
Americans, British, all your allied brothers
How strong you are
How great you are
How your young tree of new unity
Planted twenty-five years ago
Bears today the golden fruit of victory!

Frank Marshall Davis

Obama’s Communist Mentor
AIM Column | By Cliff Kincaid | February 18, 2008

excerpt...

"through Frank Marshall Davis, Obama had an admitted relationship with someone who was publicly identified as a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). The record shows that Obama was in Hawaii from 1971-1979, where, at some point in time, he developed a close relationship, almost like a son, with Davis, listening to his 'poetry' and getting advice on his career path. But Obama, in his book, Dreams From My Father, refers to him repeatedly as just 'Frank.'

The reason is apparent: Davis was a known communist who belonged to a party subservient to the Soviet Union. In fact, the 1951 report of the Commission on Subversive Activities to the Legislature of the Territory of Hawaii identified him as a CPUSA member. What's more, anti-communist congressional committees, including the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC), accused Davis of involvement in several communist-front organizations."

Frank Chapman, a CPUSA supporter, has written a letter to the party newspaper hailing the Illinois senator's victory in the Iowa caucuses:

"Obama’s victory was more than a progressive move; it was a dialectical leap ushering in a qualitatively new era of struggle. Marx once compared revolutionary struggle with the work of the mole, who sometimes burrows so far beneath the ground that he leaves no trace of his movement on the surface. This is the old revolutionary 'mole,' not only showing his traces on the surface but also breaking through."
People's Weekly World (PWW), official newspaper of the Communist Party, USA

You are welcome.

The more and more we find out about this guy the scarier and scarier the thought of him in the White House is-—it is our civic duty/responsibility to get the information out.
