Will we write about skinny dipping in Fiji with Allen Ginsberg?

I sometimes listen to him. I was listening last week (his show does not come on till midnight here) and I geuss he does not care too much for Palin but he never stated when I was listening exactly why he does not like her.

You may be right. I knew he was gonna rip on that one today!

We will never know how much we taxpayers are going to get ripped off in this one.

Savage is getting sadder and sadder. He just sounds like an angry old man when he talks politics. He is so jealious of Rush he can’t stand it.

Now, OTOH, if Savage would drop politics and turn his show into a storytelling adventure I would listen ever night. Story-telling is a lost art and it’s under-appreciated. He’s great at it.

>> When it comes to observing and analyzing the state of the country, nobody equals Michael Savage.

That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever read.

Savage is an obnoxious wind-bag. There are many individuals with far more talent at “observing and analyzing the state of the country”. Limbaugh, Levin, Hannity, Beck, Bennett, Noonan, Buckley (RIP), Goldberg, Gingrich, O’Reilly, etc.

Truly great men are marked by humility and geniality. Ronald Reagan and Bill Buckley, for instance, were truly great men and icons of conservatism ... and they carried themselves in a manner which demanded respect. Savage is unworthy of such a mantle.

Savage is a caricature, a jerk, and not particularly good for the movement he supposedly represents. The fact that he’s occasionally right on the issues does not detract from the fact that his positions are poorly reasoned, poorly supported, and that he’s a deranged, self-involved, manic-depressive, arrogant wind-bag.

And nobody’s more appreciative of Savage and his donations than Jerry Brown.

What a phony.

"I geuss he does not care too much for Palin but he never stated when I was listening exactly why he does not like her."

She's pretty, but not as hotcha as Allen Ginsberg. And she's a popular governor, but he prefers Jerry Brown.

Savage is an asshat. And I don’t care how many of his sycophants use multiple !!!!!!s and all-caps. He’s still crap to me. I’d give money straight to JohnRob if he could figure a way to keep these stupid “live threads” from showing up on my Latest Posts page.

I have listened to Savage for 4 years, and it didn’t take long for me to realize that he is very ‘different’ from other conservative talkshow hosts. For good or bad, he’s very ‘bitter’ about the state of this country, he bashes EVERYONE, be it liberals or conservatives, nobody seems to be good enough for Savage, Bush is crap, Reagan is crap, Palin is crap, Kennedy is crap, Limbaugh is crap, the best President in the the history of the United States seems to be President Savage himself.

As he starts his program quite late in the day, he has the advantage of knowing what other hosts had said during the day and he always tried to be different - some time this is refreshing, but more often than not, he drove himself into a corner that he can’t escape.

The only thing I applaud him for, is that he doesn’t give a (bleep) about what people think of his opinion.

I was shocked some time ago the way 'Savage' bashed Ann Coulter. In the same segment, he complained that Drudge wasn't mentioning his book. He brazenly ridiculed Coulter to manipulate Drudge. It was sick. But I was grateful for him helping persecuted marines and border guards. So I kept reminding myself, 'Some good in him ... some good ... '

Now he's helping Obama like a freaking pseudo-conservative mole because he doesn't like Palin. Conclusion:

Don't forget what Weiner Nation did in the 06 race.

"On his September 3, 2008 show, the day of Sarah Palin's speech to the Republican Convention, Weiner compared the Palin FAMILY to the white "trash" and perps featured on TV's COPS."

I think Weiner is white trash.

I recommend this for your list:

Weiner also made fun of Ann Coulter’s skirt while complaining that Drudge was not mentioning his book ratings. [Drudge likes Coulter.] Weiner made it clear he would continue to ridicule the way Coulter dresses [calling her some trashy names BTW] until Drudge relented. Matt Drudge posted Weiner’s book rating before the show ended. Weiner then gloated.

Yeah. The constant negativity is both annoying and revealing. The guy is playing a caricature. He himself is no conservative; as it's said, money talks but b.s. walks. He outed himself as a fraud when it was discovered that he'd contributed the legal maximum to Jerry Brown's most recent campaign. Result: Brown is now our Attorney General, and his first act in office was to announce that his office's top priority would be global warming prosecutions. This in a state overrun by illegal aliens. And now he's making noises about running for governor again in 2010, as if the state hadn't had its fill of the twerp before. Thanks a whole lot, Weiner, you crypto-liberal fraud.

Savage rocks.

He just points out the embarrassments and sellouts of the Republican party. That’s why he’s detested on this website. No one likes to be told their breath stinks.
