Savage is getting sadder and sadder. He just sounds like an angry old man when he talks politics. He is so jealious of Rush he can’t stand it.
Now, OTOH, if Savage would drop politics and turn his show into a storytelling adventure I would listen ever night. Story-telling is a lost art and it’s under-appreciated. He’s great at it.

That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever read.
Savage is an obnoxious wind-bag. There are many individuals with far more talent at “observing and analyzing the state of the country”. Limbaugh, Levin, Hannity, Beck, Bennett, Noonan, Buckley (RIP), Goldberg, Gingrich, O’Reilly, etc.
Truly great men are marked by humility and geniality. Ronald Reagan and Bill Buckley, for instance, were truly great men and icons of conservatism ... and they carried themselves in a manner which demanded respect. Savage is unworthy of such a mantle.
Savage is a caricature, a jerk, and not particularly good for the movement he supposedly represents. The fact that he’s occasionally right on the issues does not detract from the fact that his positions are poorly reasoned, poorly supported, and that he’s a deranged, self-involved, manic-depressive, arrogant wind-bag.

She's pretty, but not as hotcha as Allen Ginsberg. And she's a popular governor, but he prefers Jerry Brown.

Savage is an asshat. And I don’t care how many of his sycophants use multiple !!!!!!s and all-caps. He’s still crap to me. I’d give money straight to JohnRob if he could figure a way to keep these stupid “live threads” from showing up on my Latest Posts page.

I have listened to Savage for 4 years, and it didn’t take long for me to realize that he is very ‘different’ from other conservative talkshow hosts. For good or bad, he’s very ‘bitter’ about the state of this country, he bashes EVERYONE, be it liberals or conservatives, nobody seems to be good enough for Savage, Bush is crap, Reagan is crap, Palin is crap, Kennedy is crap, Limbaugh is crap, the best President in the the history of the United States seems to be President Savage himself.
As he starts his program quite late in the day, he has the advantage of knowing what other hosts had said during the day and he always tried to be different - some time this is refreshing, but more often than not, he drove himself into a corner that he can’t escape.
The only thing I applaud him for, is that he doesn’t give a (bleep) about what people think of his opinion.

Undeniable Facts and Truths About Michael Alan Weiner AKA "Michael Savage"
- On August 29, 2008, the day John McCain announced he had selected Sarah Palin as his running mate, Michael Weiner spent the bulk of his show condemning Governor Palin. Weiner continued to bash her for days. On his September 3, 2008 show, the day of Sarah Palin's speech to the Republican Convention, Weiner compared the Palin FAMILY to the white "trash" and perps featured on TV's COPS. Weiner followed up on his September 4 show with the assertion that Mrs. Palin was a ""Gold Rush dance hall girl" and playing player piano music to ridicule her". ( See http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2074864/posts?page=234#234 )
- "If I were Putin, I would have done the same thing" - Michael Weiner on his radio show 8-21-08(regarding the Russian invasion of Georgia)
- "The Georgian President is a puppet of George Bush" - Michael Weiner on his radio show 8-21-08
- In July 2008, on the subject of childhood autism, Weiner screamed into his microphone: "I'll tell you what autism is. In 99 percent of the cases, it's a brat who hasn't been told to cut the act out. That's what autism is. What do you mean they scream and they're silent? They don't have a father around to tell them, `Don't act like a moron. You'll get nowhere in life. Stop acting like a putz. Straighten up. Act like a man. Don't sit there crying and screaming, idiot."
- Weiner has referred to Laura Ingraham as a "transgender with a cross."
- Weiner has accused Ann Coulter of being an anti-Semite.
- Weiner's own "fans" have repeatedly called him a misogynist. ( See http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2073297/posts?page=181#181 )
- Weiner claims to have written a book with the title "The Enemy Within". Contrary to it's title, it is not an autobiographical account of Weiner's role among Conservatives.
- On April 18, 2007, at approximately 25 minutes into the second hour of his show, Weiner stated: "WE NEED TO STOP FUNDING THE WAR IN IRAQ AND START FUNDING THE WAR ON OUR STREETS". That's an exact quote. Weiner was apparently referring to homeless "scum" (his term).
- On April 17, 2007, at approximately 45 minutes into the 1st hour of his show, Weiner said the shooting (at Virginia Tech) indicates our Gun laws are too lax.
- Like Rachel Maddox on Air America, Weiner used the Virginia Tech shooting to attack President Bush throughout the 1st hour of his show on April 17th, 2007
- On April 17, 2007, at approximately 20 minutes into the 3rd hour of his show, Weiner admitted he did not recognize the name Ken Blackwell.
- On April 17, 2007, at approximately 28 minutes into the 3rd hour of his show, Weiner attacked President Bush for not mentioning Jesus Christ when he spoke at Virginia Tech Convocation.
- Throughout his April 16 show (the day of the Virginia Tech shooting), Weiner used the massacre to repeatedly attack President Bush and Homeland Secretary Chertoff for their lack of leadership. Weiner never explained what he expected the President or the Secretary to do in the wake of the school shooting.
- During the first 30 minutes of his April 16, 2007 show, Weiner called Prime Minister Blair "Tony the Coward".
- Also during the first 30 minutes of his April 16, 2007 show, Weiner called the Republicans running for President in 2008 "empty-suits". Weiner singled out Mayor Rudolph Giuliani by name.
- On April 16, 2007, at approximately 50 minutes into the 3rd hour of his show, Weiner claimed that Rudolph Giuliani "wants to make America like New York". Weiner offered no proof or evidence for this assertion.
- Calls for the impeachment of G.W. Bush
- Weiner actually did support his Congresswoman, Madame Pelosi, when she met with the Murderer Assad before he was against her meeting with Assad.
- Weiner hates President Bush, except when he likes President Bush.
- In the middle of his April 4, 2007 show, Weiner threw a fit and suddenly was off the air even though he had ninety minutes left.
- On his Nov 20, 2006 show, Weiner hosted a love-in with Charlie Rangel.
- On his Nov 17, 2006 show, Weiner played a clip from some Israeli pot smokers and then extrapolated from this clip that all of Israel have become drug addicts.

- Said there's no difference between the GOP and Dems.
- Called Rick Santorum "Sanitarium", and an idiot.
- Said he deserves most of the credit for the ports deal not going through, and since the GOP didn't give him credit, he won't support them in any way.
- Said it won't be so bad if Dems take over, outside of some minor social changes, nothing else will really change.
- Called this a broken nation with corrupt leadership, making fun of Bush, and his rationale for the war on terror, and war in Iraq.
- Called the GOP "the corrupt, war-mongering GOP"...
- He had a caller who said he was livid with the GOP, but since the Dems are much worse, he pleaded with Savage's listeners to get out and vote... With each sentence, Savage shouted him down.
- Fired by MSNBC for telling a caller to go get AIDS and die.
- He believes that the Clintons and Bush family have developed some sort of consortium and political syndicate together. For the next several years, they will stiff-arm the rest of the political world and alternate family members to the Presidency. Hillary is next, then followed by Jeb.
- In February 2007, Creative Artists Agency (a major talent and literary agency in Los Angeles) signed Michael Savage to represent him in all media. Within days however, it was reported that CAA had dropped Savage in response to anti-homosexual remarks he made regarding fellow CAA client.

To: fkabuckeyesrule
I was shocked some time ago the way 'Savage' bashed Ann Coulter. In the same segment, he complained that Drudge wasn't mentioning his book. He brazenly ridiculed Coulter to manipulate Drudge. It was sick. But I was grateful for him helping persecuted marines and border guards. So I kept reminding myself, 'Some good in him ... some good ... '
Now he's helping Obama like a freaking pseudo-conservative mole because he doesn't like Palin. Conclusion:
Don't forget what Weiner Nation did in the 06 race.

I recommend this for your list:
Weiner also made fun of Ann Coulter’s skirt while complaining that Drudge was not mentioning his book ratings. [Drudge likes Coulter.] Weiner made it clear he would continue to ridicule the way Coulter dresses [calling her some trashy names BTW] until Drudge relented. Matt Drudge posted Weiner’s book rating before the show ended. Weiner then gloated.

Yeah. The constant negativity is both annoying and revealing. The guy is playing a caricature. He himself is no conservative; as it's said, money talks but b.s. walks. He outed himself as a fraud when it was discovered that he'd contributed the legal maximum to Jerry Brown's most recent campaign. Result: Brown is now our Attorney General, and his first act in office was to announce that his office's top priority would be global warming prosecutions. This in a state overrun by illegal aliens. And now he's making noises about running for governor again in 2010, as if the state hadn't had its fill of the twerp before. Thanks a whole lot, Weiner, you crypto-liberal fraud.

Savage rocks.
He just points out the embarrassments and sellouts of the Republican party. That’s why he’s detested on this website. No one likes to be told their breath stinks.
