I gotta disagree with you if you think that he called Palin a pig. I think he was trying to be “folksy” by using a colloquialism. It didn’t work. He just was being condescending.

Good morning, Jem. Well, I guess I was thinking that the proximity in time (less than a week ago) to one of Sarah's famous lines from her speech, was terribly convicting that it was in reference to her. I think he is so desperate to damage her in any way, that he is that stupid to use a line that is albeit folksy, but not used that much, and if he is such the genius the left screams he is, he would know better than to use that line for obvious reasons.
I didn't seem to word that very well, but I think you will get my point.

1. Senator McCain compared hillarycare to lipstick on a pig, NOT hillary.
2. Gov. Palin compared hockey moms to pitbulls with lipstick.
Shortly after, Zeroman, imo, slammed Sarah P's lipstick hockey mom humor.
