BREAKING ON FOX: MAJOR CHANGE TO RNC CONVENTION PER MCCAIN CAMP

Posted on 08/31/2008 10:01:31 AM PDT by GOPinCa

Just heard reported on FoxNews that the McCain Campaign will be releasing a statement in 1-2 hours saying that the RNC Convention will be changed in a major way. Said something along the lines of a call to action for Americans. Some kind of telethon, fundraising event.

In your face Michael “This proves there’s a God” Moore.

Yes there is an Almighty God, and He is on the side of Life, Liberty, and property! It was His idea!

Yes, those are my thoughts exactly. With the gulf coast governors all tied up back at home, a lot of the major speakers like Jindal and Crist had to cancel anyway. They could condense the meat and potatoes part of it to two days and who knows, push it back a day as well so the political stuff happens on Thursday and Friday.

Hurricane telethon for the unfortunate is a good idea.

Liberal respone: Pandering for votes, they don't care about black people or poor people. They're desperately trying to make the country forget how they failed three years ago with Katrina.

Be prepared.

If McCain were REALLY smart, he'd extend an invitation to Obama/Biden to join the telethon.

That is what I was thinking. It has sped up to 17 miles per hour and it has broken up just a bit. Due to hit early Monday instead of Tuesday. That is good. And with this news, Michael Moore can head on to Communist Cuba to see if he can help out with the best health care in the world. Idiot.

There are a lot of boring speeches and nonsense at conventions. Cut those out, cut out the roll call and whittle the “read meat” down to two days.

The Rats are going to blame us for the hurricane anyway.

I agree. If this unfolds as forecasted her, I hope that is what happens.

We hold a fund raiser for storm victims while they indulged themselves with fireworks, Greek columns and Hollywood celebrities.

LOL!

The best part is the number of libs who were keeping their fingers crossed for a hurricane to disrupt the convention! Looks like they're going to get their wish, though the outcome might be a little different than what they were hoping for.

Well, as far as the left-wing liberal media is concerned, we can invite Jesus and He can show up and they would still have negative things to say about the RNC.

I am sick of them. As I believe most clear thinking Americans. This election has truly proven what a bunch of pathetic, communist, socialist morons they are.

“Hurricane telethon for the unfortunate is a good idea.”

Don’t you know the only meaningful telethons are held by left wing actors and musicians?

Of course, there is the danger that the Democrats will be shocked and outraged that people with no government jobs are getting together to help people in trouble.

What a coup if the Republicans could somehow appeal to the common sense of the American people by pointing out the excesses and waste of the spectacle last week in Denver by contrasting it with a much simpler Convention that would concentrate dollars on helping real people in a real hurricane.

Last week's Hollywood and DNC waste on "smoke and mirrors" to promote a smoke and mirrors pair of candidates whose only promise is an illusory "change" cannot compare with the real change that ordinary people could see by such a move!

The brave souls who adopted our Declaration of Independence and framed America's Constitution did not promise a government that would do everything for us, but they did perform a miracle which freed ordinary men and women from government tyranny, enabling them to transform the wilderness and become a beacon of liberty for all the world.

The time to reassert their genius is now. Let's have real change! Enough of the glitz and silliness, already.

They would call Him an anti-semite.

0bama would not consider this as it would have been above his "pay grade".
