One glaring thing I've noticed about the lefts initial attacks on VP Palin
Liberal Lunacy ^ | 8/30/08 | GeorgiaDawg32

None of the attacks involve her record as Governor of Alaska. They are all personal in nature ranging from the absurd, to the sick, to the way out of left field tinfoil hat variety..

I've seen attacks that she's simply a "token" (obamalamadingdong isn't??), to one I saw this morning where a busy mom with 5 children should be ashamed she's going to be away from home and not tending to their needs (obama going to be away from HIS kids is not a consideration), etc..

These attacks are indicative of the left however. They're emotional rather than fact based. They are indicative of the Obama campaign in general, "knee jerk", "hair triggered" responses. They come off as buffoons compared to Sen. McCains gracious congratulatory message to Obama on the night of his nomination.

I sense a renewed vigor, a renewed commitment. It seems to me America always gets the right people at the right time to lead us.

The left is trying their best to define her negatively before she has a chance to define herself. People know to wait and see who she is. Only the blithering leftists will buy it.

Notice how well the “no experience” worked for Obama, it fell totally flat. What worked with Obama was his nutty friends and his own judgment, statements which were just off the charts stupid. With Obama, it proves he lacks life experiences,

We'll have to wait a while longer to see Palin to know who she does. My concern right now is the drive bys will get to her before she gets a chance to settle into her roll and get briefings.

With hair plug Joe, everyone already knew he was a dunce, the class clown, not a thinker.

They of course neglect to mention that one of those five "children" is about to deploy with a Stryker Brigade to Iraq.

Yes the Palin nomination will expose for all time the egregious and malignant hypocrisy of the 'rat left.

Of course there are no attacks on Biden for being merely a token. To win the election Obama must get the votes of white men. There was no way that BO was going to pick a running mate who was not white and male. That makes Joe the token white guy on the Dems ticket.

Obama's Experience: A college education where his mentor was a devote communist. 20 plus years of worship by a pastor whose teaching centers around destroying whitie. A political career that was launched by an admitted terrorist.

These attacks on Palin anger me. I could give a damn about the lack of experience. For that matter, I could give a damn about Obama’s experience. I’m not voting for him because he’s a Communist, not because he’s inexperienced. Washington could use more real people who have actually worked for a living and raised a family, not less. Palin has life experiences in spades.

The vigor with which the leftists are attacking means they must fear her greatly. I still don’t know that much about her, but I’m definitely more likely to vote for McCain than I was previously.

All the media hits are "foreign experience"...Every media analyst said Biden was the correct pick because he has mucho foreign policy experience.

Conclusion:

Obama made his choice based on earlier media input.

McCain made his choice based on MORALITY, PATRIOTISM, LEADERSHIP AND GUTS.

The Left is petty, shallow, vindictive, and nasty. Always expect the lowest from them, and you will be neither surprised nor disappointed.

That line was floated here last night by a long standing FReeper. It was all I could do not to respond and get myself banned.

Bingo, and the fact that the donks treat women badly.

And to think that Hillary may have aborted any children that mattered. But we will never know. But the lack of respect in the media for Palin is already evident.

I have utmost respect for any woman who bears and raises 5 children while working full time for causes that betters her children’s future, as well as the citizen at large.

And the media, knocking Palin as being Mayor of small town America is utterly disrespectful to small town Americans, as was Obama’s statement about clinging to guns and religion. The leftist socialists know that small town Americans and rural America values are their downfall to smooth sailing store front socialism. Anything they can do to demean small town America may make them feel good. But it only emboldens the resolve of small towns to fight and resist, and vote against the rats.

And it is a nonsensical line, the only person who can answer that question is Gov. Pallin herself, and the idea that people , voters, should concern themselves with Pallin’s mothering skills is a touch moronic.

Point well made. The good news is that the majority of people in this country who make a differnce, who pay the taxes, who really make the Gross National Product, or, those who pay the bills and build America, know the radical trashy left for exactly who and what they are.

They have been well-exposed and those that keep America strong, as opposed to the leftist parasites who live off its life blood, are learning rapidly to look away from this minority of freaks and morons.

Sarah Palin will define herself, her own way, and in a way that the maggots of the left will only make further fools and idiots of themselves if they try and defame her. As we know, they are very good at being fools, traitors and crooks....to name a few.

McCain's selection of Sarah Palin took all the oxygen out of the Democrats and especially Obamo’s sermon at the temple!!

I wrote elsewhere that this is just the knee jerk reaction of the Dem's and the MSM. Come a day or two and they will look in the mirror and realize what a can of worms they have opened. If they want to go after Palin then they will be called out about not going after Obama for the same criticisms.

I think McCain let them walk into the corner and then he got out his can of paint.

Heads up.

The first measurement is out of Rasmussen this morning.

No change to the Obama lead post Palin-announcement. The most she did was trample on any uptick he may have seen from his speech.

"She should stay home with her kids" is the perfect attack - to send Hillary voters to Palin's side. If she carves off 15% of Hillary's 18 million voters Obama is doomed.

Her nomination called for a gracious, calculated response. Instead we got violent, thoughless thrashing. More than a whiff of desperation wafting from the Obama camp.

I suppose now they will accuse Bush of creating this hurricane heading to New Orleans to steal some of Obama’s thunder. It actually seems to be doing that. But if it strikes next week it’s going to deflect a lot of attention from the RNC unfortunately. The media will use Gustav as their excuse to give as little coverage to the convention as possible.

Dems have reached an all new low...yep being VP of the United States is just a token. Guess they will say the first female Republican President will be a token as well. This is getting tiresome.

Yes, this is especially true of women who get beaten down by their male colleagues, the women know to see for themselves. Sad but true, I learned that from the wife.

I sure hope we have a red white and blue convention next week. That would be the end of the Comrade Obama Marxist state.

McCain appears to be listening.
