The guy is going to kick my butt no matter how hard I try.
When it comes down to the draw, try the age old trick "hey, look at the moose!" Works every time..........

Wow!
I do wish Colt would go back to making the Python. I still want one after all these years. Who knows? It took 16 years to get the 686.

I don’t think anything will work against this guy. We’re talking about a guy who owns 52 1911’s and knows how to use each one. I’ll be going against his Smith 25 with .45 moonclips against my 686 using .38’s and speedloaders.

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. I actually have the camera, and access to several sites to hang the snapshots.
My biggest problem is time. Work is demanding these days, I’m still settling into a new home with the lovely Anne and with all the honey-do’s I’m lucky to make it to the range, much less emptying out the safe for snaps.
I like the idea of using S/Ns for photo Id’s but am learing of posting them on the net that way.

I don’t know what it is, but the 58’s just handle nicely.
Not terribly accurate firing a .357 (.38 special) bullet in a .375 (.36 cal) barrel.
But its non-corrosive and a lot easier to clean. (And those converter cylinders make for a quick reload)

The ‘58s are my favorite. I had a gunsmith do action jobs on both and they are as smooth as silk, very accurate too. Had the barrel on the .36 relined to .357. I shoot black powder cartridges (which I reload) through mine.

I take the picture and download a few possible photos to photobucket and then change the file name. I also photoshop the numbers off the frame or make sure I turn the gun away from the numbers.

Im taking pictures of every gun I own and then using the serial number as the file name.
DON’T! You’ll be giving your collection numbers to the ATFBE. Slow down and think about it.
Stay safe,
Dave

I was wondering what the + meant when I ordered the paddle holster from Blade Tech. Glad I didn’t order the wrong one. It arrived today and I’m very pleased with the fit. And it’s really fast.

If I can ever afford it:
Needless to say, the Ruger's have considerably better quality than the el cheapo pieces from Pietta.
And having a .452" bore, they shoot .45 LC / .45 Schofield perfectly.
Maybe someday.

Depression-era Manville 12ga teargas revovler, made of pot metal and bakelite. It was made in Pontiac, Michigan in response to the new state laws that followed the NFA. Getting a permit to purchase a
real handgun was tough, and a permit to carry concealed, impossible. The new "might issue" CCW policy, controlled by local pols, guaranteed that only politicians and crooks could carry legally.
