FReepers,
Besides Free Republic, who has the best TV coverage so far on the dim convention?
I have been out of town all week, stuck with CBS / Perky Katie / only partial coverage / blah, blah.
Now, I have hundreds of channels at my disposal, so let me (and everybody else) know your opinion.
Thanks!

Thanks,
That’s what I have on. Of course, it’s Sheryl Crowe singing “Change Will Do Me Good”.

Surprisingly, BBC. Monday there was a great episode of Top Gear. Tonight is Gordon Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmare. They only give the DNC about five minutes on BBC World News.

I have enjoyed FOX and even CNN has had some challenge to Democratic talking points (surprise, surprise--must be the Clinton supporters effect). I believe the most balanced though and the most interesting has been Fox--Having Juan Williams has been a positive addition for me as a white person as he brought a perspective I wasn't even thinking about regarding how this is impacting many blacks from a historical perspective, but yet he didn't hit me over the head with it and was able to sit on the panel and listen to other points of view in a respectful way at the same time.
I like the different personalities at Fox.

My TV...I picked up a bunch of VHS tapes last weekend at a church yard sale...Total Recall on Monday, Firefox on Tuesday, Zulu last night, and Terminator 3 tonight...I rely on postings here to keep abreast of the goings on at the Rat Circus.

I am fascinated when Fox has Karl Rove on. I can’t believe how intelligent, witty and clever the guy is. Unfortunately, Bill O’Reilly keeps interrupting him with some of incredibly inane observations when Karl’s saying something interesting.

I refuse to listen to a communist stand before our flag and tell me we're a sucky rich nation....that abortion and "gay" is good for our country, that the men and women who fight for us were "forced" and that God has nothing to do with the state of the "supposedly warming" universe
That illegals are NOT law breakers and are entitled.
And that MY ORDINARY WORKING PEOPLE money will fix all things.

Glenn Beck was just on for his hour show. In that hour he interviewed Bob Barr. I was more than just impressed. He is the only one (politician) living in the real world. He is extremely intelligent with no ego.
And about the convension, I won´t be watching it. Right now I am listening to some wonderful classical music.

What dnc convention? You must mean the media's 24/7 orgasm about the BOWEL MOVEMENT being annointed as the biggest loser of all times.

Sheesh. This is just a friggin' concert.
Stevie Wonder came on, and I switched off.
Next on Discovery..."Destroyed in Seconds".
Sounds like a plan.
