The 2008 peak of hurricane season is ramping up with Gustav and Hanna. The two storms pose threats to the U.S. At least 22 deaths in Hispanola are attributed to Gustav to date, and a Hurricane Warning is in effect for Jamaica. Tropical Storm Hanna has formed in the Atlantic.

What’s the deal with Hanna? This morning they predicted the path to be almost due south to Cuba...now they’ve changed the track >90 degrees.
Don’t we normally have a down spiral in gas prices as the kids go back to school in Sept.? Doesn’t demand normally drop some anyway? I wonder how that will come into play?
Jackson, MS here. Looks like we might have another one coming our way. There’s a high pressure system that might deflect the hurricane to us. After Fay, we’re already saturated. Looks to be Katrina all over again.
