I’d never heard of a Swedish nessie, just Loch Ness and Champy.

“Back in 1894, a Swedish sea captain named Dedering created a stock company with the express purpose of catching the renowned beast....
In 1986, Jämtlands county administrative board banned anyone from killing, injuring, or trapping a live animal such as the Great Lake Sea Monster or from removing or injuring the Great Lake Sea Monsters eggs, roe, or dwelling.”
Sigh.
What a difference a hundred years of feminization and liberalism makes of a country.
Nowadays if Grendel were to appear on the scene in Denmark, the Eurofag socialists would fall all over themselves trying to figure out a way to get him into the welfare office or into therapy.

What, no blurry pictures of the critter in a freezer?

In British Colombia supposedly there’s a lake monster in Lake Okonogan (?) I watched a documentary about it on The Discovery Channel several times.

........please, please warn us before posting such a picture of such a hideous sea monster.

Yes, the Ogopogo is in Lake Okanagan. And the touristy travel brochures from the area never fail to mention that.
