They didn’t show the Russian dead. Go figure.

The destroyed tanks in the top pictures (no captions unfortunately) are shown in a city. This city is Tskhinvali (spelling per the road sign in one of photos,) and so it must be Georgian tanks because Georgia used tanks to enter the city. But the journalist in his write-up says that *he* couldn't tell which side the tanks belonged to, so much they burned out. I'd give it 70% / 30%.

Wounded troops are Russian. The troops standing guard over two captive Georgians are Chechens.

The "Elit Electronics" store has also its name in Georgian, and you can see the same script elsewhere in the photos (captured documents.)

I think the last photo shows the author, but I couldn't be sure.

Moving pictures, especially towards the end. Sometimes it's helpful to get a glimpse of what war is really like.

Good post.

“I see two men who have the same ideology as I do. They wanted a free and democratic Nation that is allied with the USA”

That’s why these noble Georgian soldiers shelled and destroyed the town of Tskhinval killing ~ 2000 of noncombatant Ossetians (you can see the burned Ossetian town and killed Ossetian citizens starting from pic#11)

Why was the area shelled?

Since you know so much about the area, why don't you enlighten us as to why the Georgians attacked in the first place?

Are there any Muslim terrorist organizations operating in Tskhinval? What motivated the attack from Georgia's side?

Our military has been training the Georgian military for quite some time now, and it appears as though some of the 5-ton trucks in the background are American models. This is also true of Georgian military gear worn by their troops.

Lastly, what is the dominant religion of Tskhinval?

You are full of crap. 2000 Ossetians were not killed. They moved their civilians to Russia before they launched their attack on Aug.6th. Georgia only responded on the 7th.

The irony is that the destruction of Tshinvali was probably caused by the Russian invaders who fought for two days to capture the city.

What I did notice in the pictures is the fallen Georgian solders are missing their boots. The Russians also seem to like desecrating the bodies by lighting their crotches on fire. Thats Russian Nobleness for you.
