Maybe the Brits were thinking, “Ok you got Hong Kong from us, but now we take the Olympic Flag from you, Nyah Nyah!”

I didn’t see the Labron and Yao Ming one and I think I saw the birds nest one only once...but remember it was clever.

Not to get weird, but the right side of the 2012 logo looks like Maggie Simpson to me.

Is it just me or does the mayor of London look like Darryl Hammond from SNL?

Good one! The announcers just made reference to that...Hong Kong handover. I moved to Hong Kong from Singapore a year after that handover.

At least after having the ChiComs host these games, the Anglosphere gets the next Winter and Summer Olympics.

Londonites are supposedly really ticked off at how stupid looking it is. Can’t say I blame them. It’s more Miami in 1983 then 2012 London.
I think of London as very sophisticated. That logo doesn’t say sophisticated. It says, “Do you think anyone can tell how wasted I am??”

It’s like the cast of “A Clockwork Orange.” Keep an eye on your wallet with the crowd.
