That’s what I thought. But the test post I made was in the “Body of Thread” area.

Pardon me for ranting, but do you mean to say that you’ve been hear for ten years, reading articles, and didn’t notice the use of HTML in any of those articles? No pictures, no bold, nothing?
Great googly moogly.

Enter the text of your article and any comments you may have about the article in the appropriate areas of the form. You may enter html code in these areas. Html is optional.
Oh sure, "read instructions before operating machinery" - that old adage.

When you post there is a "Body of Thread" box where HTML does not work.
Then why is the following stated where you post the body?
Body of Thread HTML okay REQUIRED

Yes it is true, I was here when you arrived. And have read your posts/rants for a very long time. Your sarcasm is, at times, well placed.
However my memory still retains a vivid red flag when trying to use HTML in the “body of thread” area. Others may remember the same.
If that has changed or if my misspent youth has now distorted my synapses then so be it.

Good morning,
I love this (can vs may) argument, if you will indulge me - how would you decide the following?
Can/May I have food served in the conference room?
Yes, you can/may make arrangements with the onsite cafe.
Professional guests can/may have their parking tickets validated.
“May” can easily be misunderstood. Do the sentences below indicate possibility or permission?
Professional guests may have their parking tickets validated.
Repeat visitors may receive a special discount.
Perhaps it is better to follow this simple rule.
If you intend “able to,” use can.
If you mean “will possibly,” or “permitted to,” use may.
Good fun

Well, I have a friend who went into a restaurant and he was wearing shoes AND a shirt and they kicked him out.
I mean, that was ALL he had on, but it was in compliance with their rules and they STILL kicked him out. They even called the freakin' COPS!
He NEVER ate there again.
